This has been our go-to vitamin C, esp. since it has rose hips and bioflavonoids included in it which has complimentary effects. My family and I take this daily. We stuck with it because of the vast difference we felt in the quality and efficacy in comparison of our previous brand. Humans and guinea pigs are animals that can’t produce vitamin C on their own & require dietary source so don’t skimp on it, and make sure to get a quality product. Ester C is the best for of vitamin C but a good, affordable L-Ascorbic Acid like this one can be just as good.

I take 500-1000 mg of vitamin C a day, except when I am coming down with an illness, in which case I take high doses (having read some years ago that 1000 mg per hour may have an antibiotic effect; it is a given that one must build up tolerance to such doses) until symptoms subside. Over some thirty-five years when I take this approach my sickness is always shorter when I take the high doses of C.I laid off of this approach for a while when I read that most vitamin C is made from genetically modified corn. The C from non-GMO or non-corn sources was just too expensive for me to take in the needed quantity, so I chose, with some misgivings, to take the cheaper GMO C rather than be sick longer.Nutrachamp's Vitamin C is a blessing to me, being NON GMO with IMMUNE ENHANCERS, THAT I CAN AFFORD! A couple of days after receiving this bottle, I developed a sore throat; I began my 1,000 mg per hour regimen early on, as usual. I cannot say whether it was the nature of the sickness, or if it was the immune enhancers, better quality, or all of the above, but I achieved a ceasing of symptoms quicker than I normally do.I do know this: I have a new vitamin C! This is my second bottle and I will continue to purchase it. I was looking for a non-GMO, natural Vitamin C made from real fruits and vegetables, not the synthetic over-the-counter stuff. I take less of this because I seem to absorb it better and more quickly. I can feel the difference a few hours after I've taken it if I feel like I'm fighting a cold or just feel run-down. I haven't gotten sick since I switched to this brand. The capsules aren't huge or tiny and are easy to swallow. I haven't had any issues with capsules opening during shipping as I had with another vitamin product. I highly recommend this! an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and this is money well-spent! 5 stars for the product and company!

I very much like the added ingredients of Elderberry, Citrus Bioflavonoids and Rose Hips. I always also prefer capsules to any tablets as they are more quickly absorbed within the body, and are easier to swallow. Along with Vitamin D, Vitamin C is an extremely important antioxident for the health of the entire body, especially even more so now with Covid -19, the flu and other virus' upon us. Prevention is key to strengthening the immune system and a really good protective Vitamin C supplement is important. I feel this NutraChamps brand is a very fine Vitamin C. I take 500 mg twice daily with a meal to enhance my immune system.
