Q: Is there any motion detector light that is only motion detector? i do not the dawn to dusk stuff. just motion! is that possible?

Did you find one? I need one too because I want to use 3 in a row and the daylight sensor will just turn them off when one lights up.

Q: Is tbis suitable for a utlity room which is our main entrance, i want it to be motion detectable but only come on in when its needed, i.e, darkness?

Yes, it is. but please note if the motion disappeared, it will stay on 30s-60s, then auto off. And please keep the switch on always. If you need any assist, please feel free to contact me: boxlood@163.com

You can disconnect the sensor that reads whether it is light or dark. Then, when it detect movement, in broad daylight it will turn on.

Hi, The ones I have are very sensitive. The one I use outside goes on and off frequently with out obvious movement. The one I use inside only goes off when someone (or cat) moves, but again reacts quickly. It could depend how close the bulb is to the bed and the line of sight. They turn off within seconds. Most bulbs will probably react the same. If you want to try one I would recommend. Mine have been in use for nearly a year and still going strong.
