Fender Super 250 Electric Guitar Strings, Nickel Plated Steel, Ball End, 250LR .009-.046

I have always liked these strings. I use them on all my electric guitars, and while I occasionally try other strings, I always end up coming back to these. They have a clear, crisp, retro-style sound, perfect for blues and rock. They’re durable, they stay in tune, and they feel great. And the price is very reasonable. As an added point, I use them on my acoustic guitars as well.

The Fender Super 250 Electric Guitar strings (.09-.42) light gauge have excellent tonal quality the full spectrum range and are easy to bend. I prefer these on my Fender Strat over all other brands. If you require a deeper, more solid base and less string bending, go with the regular gauge. Fender Super 250's are an excellent buy for the price.

You’ll generally get a 3-pack of these for cheaper than you would get a 3-pack of Ernie Ball Slinkys or D’Addario XLs. Comparing to those two, they are priced about right.They are good strings, but somewhat restrained in tone compared to the other brands. They also wear out quicker than the Slinkys or XLs. I play a lot and therefore wear strings out pretty fast. I’ve found that the extra money spent on the other brands is worth it, as I like the tone better on either of the other brands and they both last longer.All that said, these do sound good, if not remarkable, and represent a great value for the money. If you play infrequently and are not looking for something with heavier or brighter tone, they represent good value for what they cost.Reviewers who said they had strings snap while putting them on, or within 10 minutes of playing, are simply doing something wrong. There’s no reason that should happen if they are strung up properly.

I have these on three american fenders; am deluxe tele, am pro strat, and an am pro 2 strat. I play an hour or two a day and change out strings about every two or three months…about the time they start sounding dull…i don’t clean my strings. The string change timing is about right to oil my rosewood board (1 guitar) check and polish my frets, and give my guitars a good maintenance cleaning. The strings work and sound perfect for me. I bend and slide alot, but seldom use my trem on my strats (decked to dive bomb only). I have never broke one of these strings (9s or 10s), they stay in tune well, and have a really great quack tone on my strats, and a nice twang on my tele. Great product and value my style and guitar care regimen.

These should be the standard strings that come on a Bass VI so Fender/Squier made the first mistake of not making these the common string, don't make the same mistake!Great string gauges with the lowest E (in tone, actually the highest on the fretboard) 1.00 for a great thumpin bottom! Great price as well!

I’ve used 3 sets of those in first half of 2024, no quality problems encountered.6th/E is tapered after nut (vibrato length included) and fits into standard and split peg holes, intonates properly (some bridge fiddling still required, just screw adjustments, no flipping/cutting or 3rd party parts). It’s a proper bass string now and not a puny 0.84Tension is good, unlike other 3rd party brand, almost twice cheaper too.The only downside is that packaging doesn’t include color coding for 6 string configuration.Just in case, order is:Brass(Gold)-Candy Apple Red-Nickel(Silver)-Sea Foam Green-Graffiti Yellow-Lake Placid Blue

I use 9-42 light strings. They are easy to bend - easier than the 10 regular strings. Strings are nickel coated. Lets see how this feature works out after playing for a month. I am very satisfied with the choice.
