Lion Premium Grills L5312 Stainless Steel Ice Chest, 21-3/8 by 16-7/8-Inch

My husband thought this was a waste of money to put in our outdoor kitchen but now he uses it all the time. We can use it for just ice storage when serving mixed drinks or some type of rum punch or we can use to keep drinks cold and saves from repeatedly opening and closing the refrigerator every time you want a drink. The ice keeps for a reasonable amount of time depending on the outside temperature. The construction of the ice chest is very heavy duty. In my picture we have taken out the condiment tray that it come with.

This ice bin is perfect! We own a landscape company and our customer requested a drop-in ice bin for their grill island/bar. I liked that this doesn't have a hinged lid like most. You can fill this one to the brim with ice and drinks, and guests can just reach and grab what they want without having to worry about holding the lid open. Likewise, you can leave the lid on and just set it to the side to grab what you need. There is a drain and a condiment tray inside. It's pretty spacious also. Another nice feature is that there is a rubber gasket/seal that the lid sits on for better insulation. I've attached a few photos of the installed ice bin.

Overall nice product, but it did come with some scratches on top of the lid.

This unit is much heavier and beefier than I imagined. No wonder it costs nearly $400. On Easter Sunday, I loaded it with beer and 25lbs of ice. 48 hours later, there are still a few pieces of ice in there. Over the last 2 days, temperatures ranged from 50-75 degrees, so it does a good job of keeping things cool. The only issue I have with this is the weak drain plug/strainer. For a $400 ice bin, I would have expected it to be able to not leak through the drain. (It has a 1 1/12 piped drain). It comes with a strainer/plug, but even with it all the way in, it leaked water as the ice melted. Not good as it's the water mixed with ice that keeps all the drinks cold. I had to improvise for our Easter party and sealed the drain with silicone tape. I've since purchased a 1 5/8 rubber stopper from home depot which seems to be able to properly seal the drain. Other than the leaky drain, it's a very nice ice bin.

Just got it installed and Rust spots after first rain. Not worth the money.

This is a great addition to the outdoor kitchen that we just built. I love the drain at the bottom of the chest. The quality is very durable.
