Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils Tin (Set of 12), Blue, Multi

I have been using these pencils extensively for the last few days and these are my observations:1. The colours are not as vivid as they are claimed to be. However when mixed with water, they are.2. Shades of red and blue are much stronger than greens and yellows.3. While blending one colour with another, it needs a very light hand.4. Blending is quite impossible when using dry pencil on wet paper.

So... I got this derwent academy colour pencils(24shades). The packaging was well good. I must say if you are beginners & student still learning ...this product is very good for them... I m a Fashion designing student & still learning and from my view I liked this product....for kids also it is best... But if u r professional...i recommend u.. Don't buy. I think value for money is worth it,since it is not for professionals.. The colours are soft and bright enough ... And can blend easily... It also depends on which paper u r using....so I liked the product.

The pencils just crumble when you draw with them and they aren’t very soluble. I can’t recommend them.

Product colour range is superb. This is my first buy from Derwent range and I am loving it.Colours blend good and new colours can be created from the existing colours and packaging is neat and carry friendly.I would suggest this to everyone who wants to try watercolour pencils of good brand at a nominal price.

It cannot serve the purpose of watercolor pencils. It's very hard, not properly water soluble. You can neither use it dry nor wet. Do not go for it. Much better options are available.Amazon doesn't allow to return this, only gives replacement option. Amazon customer has become pathetic. There is no option to talk to them. I have made many purchases from Amazon. Never knew that Amazon turned such pathetic business platform, that they are not ready to reach out!!!!!!

The colours are brilliant . The one thing i didnt liked much was lots of black combination colors are available in the kit , they must be adding other colors too . If you need much of other colors search for other brands too before buying !

Very good packaging..vivid colours...blends smoothly. Defenitely worth buying.

It's colors are like any normal color pencils(it's not soft)but with little water it disolve beautifully.for me it's black should have been more darker it's like a 1b pensil and it's white is not visible without water.packaging is beautiful.here two pic to show different between without water and with water
