How long 'non-stop' usage will it get?

Part of the answer depends on how loud you have the volume. If normal volume you can except 4 hours. If you have it all the way up, closer to 3 hours.

Is this loud enough for a wedding reception? 100 people or so?

With that many people I couldn't really say.I know it can get pretty LOUD.even though it has a rechargeable battery I recommend bringing the power adapter.Having the volume to loud will drain the battery fast only last 3 hours.still worth it.

How long does the fully charged battery operate the unit???

Depends, how much you use it? But I use it ever day, and a charge last me, a good month.

RMS is the industry standard for rating power, but these days some lower end makers have gone back to using peak power in order to show higher numbers when rating their power. We don't play this game. The SB2145 is rated at a total of 10 watts RMS at 10% harmonic distortion. There are two woofers at 4W each and 2 tweeters at 1W each.
