Had one for years and loved it; There's a UK version now out
UPDATE: I found out that Breville's arm in the UK is Sage by Heston Blumenthal. Theirs looks identical to the Breville and I'm guessing it's the same (why me$$ with a good thing?). The price point is lower but I have no personal experience with it - yet.------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL POST: I'd had this teamaker for about 6 years but was moving from the US to Europe so I had to sell it. It just did its job perfectly and the temp was always accurate. I didn't realise how rare that is in a variable temp kettle until I tried to replace it with something a bit less costly. I've bought and returned two others and have been reading reviews to find one that does what it's supposed and *doesn't leak.*I never take the time to write reviews, but thought I should spare someone the nuisance of buying and returning the junk kettles out there. In this world, almost £400 could be more selflessly spent - is a kettle ever worth that much? Dunno, I may have to spring for another Breville.
