Once the Chia seeds have full grown into a plant (or grass?) how long does it live?

I am not sure. We just planted them. The head was broken off on delivery so I am not sure if it is even going to hold water. We had to glue it. This particular one the seeds kept sliding off the head. I would suggest you buy a different one not bob Ross from someone that it will not be broken.
