I am so happy that I bought this yogurt maker. It is really good quality, I make yogurt every day and it has made it easy to make delicious yogurts. Today I will try the Dr Eric Berg recipe prebiotic yogurt. It is a bit sad that the price dropped right after I bought it, but it is still worth it... I bought the small jars as extra, they are very good⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Much needed for the adjusted temperature, being a plumber I have 240-110 transformer with a lead that has an American socket.

I asked the manufacturer direct (Ultimate Health Solutions) & they responded within 24hrs:Our yogurt maker is designed for North American standards with the following specifications: Voltage: 120V, Wattage: 20W, Frequency: 60Hz, Plug Type: Standard US plug. To use the yogurt maker in the UK, you’ll need a step-down voltage converter that converts from 220-240V to 120V, as well as a plug adapter for US to UK. Make sure the converter can handle at least 20 watts, which is the power requirement of our yogurt maker.Now that's how to do customer service. I haven't bought the product yet, but I SO want to as I've heard great reviews about it elsewhere & on here. I'll now research the cost of a step-down converter & a US to UK adaptor before deciding.

This item is not for UK and has a US plug! Not sure why this item came up to buy on my Amazon feed as usually 'knows' what country you are in. This is now a problem. I have bought loads of cream and milk (to make half n half) and can't make a yogurt! 😭 Sad

The device is supplied with American plug only and no adapter . For those who want to cut the old plug and fit a fused uk plug , just note the pins are polarised ( they recommend you don’t, probably so you don’t blow it by connecting the wires the wrong way) also note the twin flex has no earth and the smooth wire is live and the ridged wire is neutral . This machine is switched neutral so I feel it is important to have a fused plug . Other than that it seems to work as I want it to . For those who don’t want to fit a plug , you will need a 2 pin fused American adapter. Some people seem to be worried about voltage , it doesn’t seem to be a problem using it in the Uk. It would be illegal to offer it on Amazon uk site if voltage was an issue . I can confirm I have used it twice now using a 3 amp fused plug with no issues . One problem I have found is trying to register the warranty.

This is a great yoghurt maker but it comes from america and you will need a transformer to use it. I have tried other yoghurt makers that are cheaper but don't have timers longer than 12 hours and have no temperature control. Make sure your transformer is high quality because cheap versions can be dangerous and catch fire, they are also very noisy. I have only given it 4 stars because of the transformer issue.

It took me ages to decide on this yoghurt maker. I live in the UK and unfortunately it came with a US fitting plug. There was no adapter either. I have reached out to the company and I’m just waiting to see if they will supply one. Otherwise, I will have to send it back. *Update. I have received an email to say the seller no longer sells on Amazon so i can’t get a refund. I’ve ordered an adapter. Hopefully this will solve the issue.
