Assembly is required but is straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions. Essentially, you just pull the structure outwards repeatedly, much like setting up a pop-up gazebo, until it’s fully extended to its full size—this takes no more than 10 minutes.Although the bathtub comes in a yellow colour, it doesn’t look overly conspicuous, especially once it’s stretched to its full 150cm length, which is more than sufficient for most users. The design features a durable PVC material with multiple layers of insulation for heat retention, along with a scratch-proof surface. It holds water well, but filling it with hot water can be a challenge unless you have a conveniently positioned hot water tap. Alternatively, it can be placed under a shower, although filling it this way is time-consuming.The included lid makes it suitable for use as an ice bath, which is a great option for those who require one. Draining the tub is easy, thanks to the dual drain system at the bottom and side, although it’s clearly designed to empty onto grass or into a shower floor drain.At 50cm tall, it’s essentially a sturdier, deeper version of a paddling pool. While it’s slightly pricey for what it is, its versatility—from a toddler playpen; a bathtub if you only have shower facilities in the home and/or an ice bath—helps justify the cost.Overall, it’s a solid product with some limitations when it comes to filling it quickly.
