These work for their needed purpose, but they are very flimsy. They feel cheap (the price would suggest that you are not getting a high quality piece).

These things do, in fact, have seams in the corners of the face of the frame. The intent of these is to be weather-resistant for direct outdoor use, and having cut seams in the corners isn't exactly beneficial to that end. I contacted the company VEVOR directly. They apologized and suggested I use CAULK on the seams. Absolutely not! Crazy to suggest that on brand new doors. The aesthetics of doing so would look atrocious.Another thing to consider is the mounting frame depth is great...if you're mounting to the frame of the outdoor kitchen you're building. If you put 1/2" sheathing of any kind (fiberboard, cement board, whatever) over top of the frame, the mounting holes don't reach far enough back to mount directly to the frame in an appropriate way.Ultimately I think this is one of those "get what you pay for" things. But let's be clear. These still aren't cheap. It's less than $10 in materials, bent, minimally welded, and shipped out.
