I made a toybox for a little boy so was keen to get something that would stop the lid dropping too quickly.These were ideal. The key helps you alter the resistance so you can tighten or loosen the hinge. They are sturdy and just the job.

Does the job, you do have to adjust them alittle but we only needed 1 hinge per top box. Which was good!As i ordered to per topbox.

Found these to be very useful for my cabinet making project and great value at the Amazon price ! When open fully they lock nicely but are slim enough not to get in the way inside the cabinet when closed.

Used to hold open on overhead kitchen top box. Zero instructions provided! Used internet diagram to try and work out how to fit. After several trials and errors managed to work it out. However nearly sent item back as it would not stay open. In the end we turned it upside down and it worked. There was no way whatsoever to know which way was up and which was down as bracket looked identical both ways. Used only one bracket as we used the other to try and demystify the mechanism. We loosened the second bracket too much while trying and it fell apart into countless small parts - impossible to put back together. Once fitted, the bracket works well, however would never buy again and do not recommend the product.

Yet again not for intended purpose......so although to be used as what they are built for, my requirements are for a frame.....an archery target frame to be precise! So rather that the usual rope secure the rear leg(s) of stand these little drop down hinges will do the trick and look a wee bit more professionaliy finished IMHO. So 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's for the hinges as they do the job all not for what they had been initially intended for.😁🏹🎯
