OK, I tend to think outside the box. So when I saw these giant silver scissors, I knew my teenage sons would want them. They love collecting blades like swords and knives. These scissors are a giant pair of blades and both of my sons love them! They both want them, so I’m probably going to have to order a second pair so they each get one. Ha ha. They have been going around the house, finding things to cut. These scissors easily cut through a 20 ounce soda bottle. If you’re wanting to buy these for a grand opening ribbon-cutting, I doubt you’d have a problem cutting through the ribbon. These scissors are enormous! I took a picture of them laying on my kitchen counter to show the size. They’re a nice quality pair of scissors. They’re designed and function like a normal pair of scissors, only they’re much much larger! On a side note, I have a craft room and think these would make a great decoration in there, however my kids have claimed them.

I got these to use at a work event, and they were a big hit! They look great and worked pretty well. My only complaint is that some of the edges are a bit rough and the hinge didn't want to move as smoothly as I would have liked. But for a novelty giant pair of scissors, I would say these are a win.

Yes, these are "real" working scissors. And they are big and sharp! I got these out of humor, but my friend will be opening his own shop soon, so why not cut a ribbon on opening day?Just for ribbons? Nope! This can actually be handy as a legitimate home self-defense measure. I had imaginations for new horror movies. I think that occurred to me once I saw and felt how heavy these are. 😂Anyways, I was not disappointed! Get them!

I'm a stylist at one of the largest barbers in the country, so I figured I needed a pair of the largest scissors to match. Just kidding, but these things are massive. 65 cm or over 25". Check out the picture compared to a pair of what I used to consider large scissors! They are fairly sharp- I was able to cut the cardboard off the box these arrived. I wouldn't worry about cutting thru any ribbon for a ceremony.The he only "downside" is the imperfections on the handles and blades. Nothing noticeable unless you are really looking for them.

These are nice scissors! Generally used for ribbon cutting ceremonies but I got these for my preschool classroom simply because they are hilarious! They open and close smoothly and are actually pretty sharp. The mechanism that holds them together but allows them to open and close is really smooth. The handles are ergonomic and comfortable for use! I plan on hanging them in our classroom to match our other giant items like a giant paperclip, giant pencil and giant ruler. These scissors will fit right in!
