Lasts SO Long!
I was skeptical that these would work. They were pricey, especially when the orthodontist gives you free wax. But my son has one tooth that sticks out in front of other teeth, and I was worried that the brackets would rub on his gums, so I bought them to keep on standby in case he needed them. He has ceramic braces, and on the third day of having them, that one spot was really bugging him. The wax just wasn't sticking, so we got these out to try. I tried to get one to stick but had trouble; he got a second one out and got it to stick immediately. It stuck so well, in fact, that it has now been on for about 12 hours! It has stayed on through two showers, lots of talking, and three meals! When it lasts that long, it makes it much more worth the value! Very impressed!

Cheek saver!!
I'm only 30 minutes into using these for the first time and all I can say is....... WOW, relief...1 week into braces and I both cheeks have ulcers. Wax doesn't stick to the brackets and when I can get it on the bracket it's big and bulky. I looked like a chipmunk. These are tiny, easy to apply and they actually stick.Worth paying a little extra for.

Pricey but work well and less noticeable than wax
These stay on great while eating food which I like better than using wax. They are individually packaged which I also liked. They sometimes have a hard time staying on initially then stay in great once in place. I have swallowed them before and didn’t even notice, They have no smell or taste. They are a little pricey for the amount you get but work well.

Overpriced for the quantity
I wish the dots were more like strips. They do stick and seem to work in terms of creating a barrier between my cheeks and the sharp metal of my braces. They are way too overpriced though to replace the traditional wax. One box out of the two pack won't even last me a day for all the spots I need to cover. Also way too much packaging involved.

Very helpful
Works like a charm. At first I was hesitant, but I am happy with this purchase. It is easy to use, tasteless and feels seamless in your mouth. It provides relief from the loosening wires from your brackets poking against your gum line. It lasts up to 2-3 days.

Would recommend
I love these things. I’m about 4 hours into using them for the first time.I have classic metal braces and there is a bracket at the very back of my mouth that was rubbing against my cheek every single time I opened my mouth. Eating was so difficult.I bought these, stuck it on my back bracket, and got INSTANT relief. It’s been on for a few hours now and it’s been held in place perfectly.I fully expect it to come off when I eat my meals or brush my teeth, and that’s fine. It works better than the original wax (in my opinion).10/10 recommend.

They don't really stick.
These dots are ridiculously expensive. Down right obscene for what you get! Supposedly one side has adhesive, the side with the little lines. But in reality, neither side is sticky. Or, are both sides sticky? I have no idea! I have even watched YouTube video instructions. You're supposed to apply them to your wet bracket/tooth, which is supposed to activate the adhesive, but the only thing that happens is they get very slippery. They slip around on the bracket. They slip around on your finger. They start to tear and lose their shape when you're trying to position them. Then after you have finally managed to get it on the bracket, when you try to take your finger off of the dot, the dot is actually stuck to your finger, not the tooth/bracket. So then you try again. Each time the dot get more and more out of shape and tearing. To then you throw that away and start over with a new one. Sometime the new responds better, and goes on exactly as it should. Many of the slippery wet dots have slipped off my finger and disappeared onto the bathroom rug, and because they're clear, they are gone for good. However, they are still a little bitty bit better than wax, even though wax is easier to apply, and much cheaper. Wax is cloudy and very thick and ugly. So, because there is no better alternative, I'll keep using these 14 karat gold dental dots. I'll just apply for a 2nd mortgage on my house in order to pay for them ;)*Additional Info! Stay away from those one-piece, clear strips that claim to clip on to your brace's wires. They do not work at all! My teeth are relatively straight. Just needed a very small 2-4mm correction on one slightly turned front tooth that is almost completely straight now. That clear strip didn't even clip onto any of the wires without popping right back off as soon as I removed my finger. Plus, they all are non-returnable. I feel like they stole $10.00 from me. Definitely don't waste your money on those useless things.
