LOVE this chicken coating. Has a great Louisiana flavor! Make sure to get the 1 gallon and not the 1/2 gallon, better bang for your buck for sure! This will last me a long time, and it doesn't go bad.

I use this in a deep fryer with tallow for chicken thighs, hamburger, tenderloin, etc. and it works wonderfully. Seals in moisture and cooks up well. Now I'm all hungry.

I was not prepared for just how seasoned this 'seasoned batter mix' was. I was expecting a bit of salt, pepper, garlic... I guess I've never had 'Louisiana Spices' before, because this flour goes hard. It is -so- spicy, I'm not even sure what to compare it to. It's almost as intense as Buffalo Chicken, though the flavor is very different. I've never tasted a batter mix this strong.Once I got past the initial surprise, I actually liked this batter quite a bit. It really adds a lot even to plain chicken without any sauces. I'm going to enjoy experimenting with this for a while. I don't really have any complaints- The container is just a plastic tub but it seems like it will do the job just fine.
