I’ve been using the Truly Free Laundry Detergent for a while now, and I can honestly say I’m in love with this product. First of all, the smell is incredible—it’s fresh and clean without being overpowering or artificial, which is a huge plus for me since I’m careful about avoiding synthetic fragrances. It leaves our clothes smelling so good that I actually look forward to folding laundry, which I never thought I’d say as a busy mom of two!The detergent works really well, even on tougher stains from my little ones’ clothes. I was initially skeptical that a clean product could be this effective, but it absolutely gets the job done. I also love that it’s refillable, which makes it so much more eco-friendly than traditional plastic bottles. Love this laundry soap! Smells amazing but also all natural so you don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals in your clothes. Leaves clothes super soft as well without any softener. You get a decent amount of loads as well and super easy to use with the cap. Overall I will be switching this to my new laundry soap as it is the full package! Natural, good as the hard stains, softens clothes, smells good, and nice value for money! If you are on the fence you need to try it is totally worth it! You won’t be buying anything else!

10/10 recommend this laundry detergent when trying to find a chemical and toxic free product. It cleans so much better and gets ALL stains out than any other detergent I’ve tried. I will do a full load of laundry and only use 2 tablespoons worth and it works perfect! Best perk is that is smells amazing!I high recommend filling the container half full with warm water, added the detergent and shake really well. Let the bubbles dissolve and shake again to ensure everything is incorporated. Once the bubbles are gone, fill to the max line with more warm water, shake and you are good to go!

I love the detergent, it cleans well and smells nice. My only complaint is the refills have to be purchased in a 4 pack, unless you buy another starter pack where you get the bottle again. Which kind of defeats the purpose. They need to allow peoto buy one refill at a time. Some people can't drop over $40 on refills. With two people in my household I only have a few loads a week. So now I have refills to last a couple years.

There are so many issues with this product, I don’t know where to begin. I have been using tide free and clear for about five years and was looking for a more natural product with a natural scent. Upon opening the packet to mix solution, the scent was noxious and you instantly could taste a nasty chemical when you smelled the powder. This smells like Gain or Tide. I’m incredibly disappointed that this wasn’t the natural essential oil smell it was marketed as having. The scent is diminished after drying but not natural smelling at all.Secondly, it doesn’t clean. Even using a full cap which should be good for two large loads, my everyday clothes are not clean. Dirt is still on my kids pants that usually comes out with tide. It’s like washing with scented water.I haven’t noticed any reaction yet for my kid’s sensitive skin but honestly, the product seems so dilute and not suds appear during wash cycle, so I’m not convinced there’s anything concentrated about it except the scent.Lastly, the bottle provided is awful. It leaks when you pour and it tells you to shake before each use because the particles settle. When you shake, detergent leaks out of the cap and makes a big mess before you even open the lid.TrulyFree is truly free of anything natural or useful for your laundry routine. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. It’s over priced and has misleading marketing. I suspect many of the raving reviews are a scam because there’s no way this is a natural detergent. I hope this review prevents someone else from wasting $20 on noxiously scented water.

This detergent was top rated by a website that researches products for toxicity and makes recommendations based upon safety and environmentally proactive components. I decided to give it a try despite not liking the plastic refillable bottle it came with. The scent was very strong upon opening the packet and mixing it with my purified water. However, after a few days, it wasn't as strong. Bear in mind, the scent is from the natural oils used - NOT synthetic fragrances that contain toxic chemicals. If the scent bothers you, they sell an unscented version. It is a bit unnerving when you pour it because it isn't thick like commercial detergents that have colored dyes and toxic chemicals in them. So, watery as it is, I have found it does a wonderful job of cleaning my laundry. I use white vinegar as my fabric softener which reduces the scent a bit.Since I'm not a fan of plastic and the refillable bottle that came with this detergent, I ordered a big glass jug with a pump from Amazon which has turned out to be perfect for this detergent. I came with a funnel to make it easier to pour the detergent powder into it. Four squirts with the pump is equal to a medium sized load.I truly love this detergent as well as the refreshing scent. My laundry comes clean and I am no longer subjecting myself, nor the environment to toxic chemicals.

I have been on the hunt for a nontoxic laundry detergent that cleans and smells good. I wanted to love Truly Free. It does smell great in the bottle. However, my clothes come out smelling just as they went in. Unfortunately, this does not get my clothes clean.
