What's the seat material, how weight can be hold

It seams leather, my husband is around 250 and has no any issue when sitting on it

Has anyone had issues with the seat material separating?

Not at all. The material (faux leather) is rather stiff and woven tight. I have not seen any separation and I have 6 chairs.
