Q: Does this fit the grill grates of a regular Weber 22 inch kettle grill ?

Q: How long before you need to replace the "head" of this thing? I see they sell replacements, but they are nearly as much.

I have been using it since march on a grill made of stainless bars, I grill a lot and I don't think it is showing any wear. It works good on smooth round bars, its all I use any more, if it were used on a rough surface I don't think it would work as well or last as long.

Q: What size screw and nut connects the grill scraper?

You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver and an 11/32" wrench to remove it, if that's what you mean.

Q: is it ok to use on cast iron grates as well?

GrillFloss is designed to be used specifically on the round rod style BBQ grates. The shape of the tool's head is such that I don't believe you would be happy trying to use it on any other style grate. Take a closer look at the product video and the style of grate it's being used on then make your own decision but having had the style grate that you currently have I don't think this one will work for you, sorry.
