I was a bit concerned when I first ordered this item, as some reviews were great, and some were not so great. I have to say, this exceeded my expectations. I went on a cruise, like 25 years ago, and I found the audio cassette for the band that played on the sun deck every day. The music was engrained in my brain. I wanted to get them digitalized so I can stream them thru my car audio system: enter the reshow! For anyone that actually had a portable cassette player, this is very vintage looking, just like they used to look. You can see the size comparison as I have a pic of it next to my computer mouse. I was extremely happy with the result and functionality.FIRST OFF: this device takes audio right off cassette player, just as it is. So it sounds all "cassette-like." DO NOT EXPECT IT TO CLEAN UP THE AUDIO like it is a new digital mp3 release.SECOND: use a free program like Audacity, and YouTube "how to clean up cassette sound with audacity." That is what I did, and it sounds great. It still sounds a bit like a cassette, which kind of makes me happy and nostalgic, but it definitely sounds a million times better.This RESHOW was easy to use, just pop in tape, connect to your computer with supplied cord, and follow the directions it gives you. When "ripping" audio from tape to your PC, they give you directions using Audacity, again, this is a free program to download and use. It is very simple if you are familiar with computers, programs and such. I must have listed to the digitalized version of this tape 50 times already. I love it, as it brings back memories of family trips and my youth. I am very happy with this device as it exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it.

After spending some quality time with it, I definitely think I made the right decision.This is a high quality cassette player that feels like it just fell out of 1990, albeit with some modern improvements. To get started, all you need to do is pop a couple of AA batteries in the back and a cassette in the front and you're ready to go. You can hit play and you'll immediately hear sound coming out of the onboard speaker. While the sound out of that speaker isn't going to blow you away, it's loud enough and serviceable. And let's be honest, nobody listens to a Walkman that way anyway. That's what the convenient headphone jack is for. The sound is great for the headphones - or at least, as great as a cassette can offer. And the play, stop, record, etc. buttons all feel nice and solid.To put it simply, it's a great little Walkman. But that's probably not the main reason you're looking at it.You're wondering how well it records audio from cassette to computer. And I can say that it works perfectly. It's got a USB-C output that makes it super easy to hook up to a computer. And it took no work at all for my computer to read it and for me to begin recording onto Adobe Audition.All in all, it was a simple solution. I'd call it the perfect modern tool for audio cassettes, whether you're hoping to record some to a computer or just listen to some old tapes while you go on a jog or do work around the house.

What a great and convenient product this is! First of all, I'm now able to listen to cassettes that I made about 50 years ago. Though I still have the machine I used to make them, it hasn't held up very well over time. The playback of this unit is incredible. I can hear my Dad's voice again as well as songs I used to listen to that I forgot about simply because they aren't played these days. Thank goodness the tapes have held up so that the quality this unit can produce makes them sound crisp and clear. trhe ability to transger them into an MP3 format and placed on a computer drive gives me so much more flexibility with the contents. All in all, this was a product that came as advertised. A good buy as well.

I bought this on sale, so the price felt just right. I’m not sure I would have paid full price, but overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It works well and does exactly what I needed it to do. It’s a convenient little player that easily plugs into external speakers and connects to a laptop without any issues.For what I paid, it’s a great value, and it’s been reliable so far. I recommend it, especially if you can find it on sale.
