this things amazing i just hate that i just wish the dial to tighten wasn’t so uncomfortable when my head back on something while watching movies lol. but any other activity the thing made VR more comfortable and not as heavy

This has made my quest 3 much more comfortable to use than the standard strap - I'm a big fan of halo type headsets, so this is a win for me. You can also find a video on youtube and an associated STL file to print a battery mount - so now you can really extend your play time!

Having the full size BOBVR M2 for the quest 2, I was looking forward to getting the BOBOVR M3 for the quest 3. Unfortunately it is out of stock due to demand, and the adapters I 3D printed didn't fit quite right. I was able to order the M3 conversion kit, but it was about a month out to ship at the time.I decided to buy this BOBOVR M3 Mini as an alternative, since I hate the stock quest 3 strap. I did not expect it to be nearly as comfortable. However, I was really surprised at how great it feels, it might even be better that the full size!Also, there is a spot on this headset to mount the external BOBOVR battery pack - and I took the one from the BOBOVR M2 headset out and it fit perfectly on to this M3 Mini. All you need to do is remove three screws from battery slot cover plate, and it swapped right into place and works perfectly!

This has changed the way that I use my quest 3S. It’s much more comfortable so now I can wear it longer. With the stock strap it would not fit my kids but with this one it fits. I’m happy.

My son has the meta quest 3. He's been begging for a replacement head strap. He saw a review on this specific one on Youtube. I was completely out of the loop on what or how or even it was possible. I gave it a try and I am shocked these companies use the junk straps they come with instead of having something like this. It a game changer for a few bucks. It balances the headset on the kiddos head and is comfortable to wear. Again, meta....why? Why wouldn't this already have been designed and added to a proper headset that costs around $650? I highly recommend and would purchase again.

I do a lot of VR sports. I quickly realized that the default Meta strap needed to be replaced. I started with the Elite Strap by Meta, which is well made, yet there is no extension swivel option to allow for vertical headset adjustment. I then tried another elite strap, this one was a low-end option that included the swivel, which looked much like the kiwi elite strap. This second strap was better than the Meta strap, yet it would still move some during sport games since the back adjustment wouldn't ratchet down tight enough.This latest strap by BoboVR is better in a couple of ways. The build quality is better overall, and it does ratchet tight in the back. Though it doesn't seem any lighter to me? The problem I had is that the part that cradles the back of your head is positioned too high for my head shape. It doesn't move, but I am certain that it would feel more secure if it was positioned at the base of my skull. As it is, it won't move lower than the mid-part. As a result, I end up ratcheting the headset tight, and as a consequence it's pressing into my face more than I would like. I would have gone with the "halo" option (the other BovoVR version), yet I've read that they move around some with sports games.The long and short is this, the head strap is well made, it's affordable, and it will work well for most people. I am a man with a large head, and it does fit, but I am near full extension to do so. And on a final note, I would suggest getting the battery add-on. You absolutely need the battery to counter weight the heavy Q3 VR headset if you move about at all. It's clear that the manufacturers have done their best to provide a quality product.
