Unsolved murder mystery game - Cold Case Files Investigation - CRYPTIC KILLERS - Detective clues/evidence - Solve the crime - For individuals, date nights & party groups - "Murder in Miami"

I really enjoyed looking at all the evidence and analyzing the clues. This was very well thought-out and when I went to put in my answer online, I didn't even have all of the information I wanted to have in my head, but because the evidence and every part of the game was so well thought out I was confident enough to figure it out after only having reviewed the evidence. Of course I plugged in information as I went along, but it really came together after I reviewed everything and I was right!!!! So much FUN!!!!

I’ve played a little over half of the currently available Cryptic Killers cold case file games, and I really like them. The materials are quality and have interesting attention to detail (e.g. in this 80s game, some of the evidence looks like DOT matrix printer paper, and there is also a yellow carbon copy paper). The writing is also solid, and the games are reasonably priced compared to some others in the same genre. This is the only one I’ve played so far that stands out as “challenging.” I was able to solve it solo and without hints, but it took some time to make all the pieces fit (they did, though - IMO, the writing here was fine). Take notes while playing unless you have a photographic memory. Also, as a child of the 80s, it was super nostalgic for me to play a Miami Vice themed murder mystery. My only regret is buying this individually instead of in one of their currently available bundles.

Great game and fun as a way for teens/tweens to connect with adults. We played it with our 10 and 12 year old daughters and had a blast. The girls were able to help peruse the evidence and we had fun cross referencing suspects and alibis. Highly recommend for a fun date night or family date with kids aged 10+

Took about 2.5 hours. Kept moving at a decent pace. Mostly reading - which I don't mind.

We have done quite a few cases, this was one of our favorites. It definitely was challenging so the things were helpful but we were able to do it without the hints. There was enough in the evidence to direct us in the right direction yet...very challenging. This is one of those cases that the things that you think might be important to keep in mind are very important. Overall great entertainment! I think this could be done at different ages. Because the murder isn't very gruesome. They don't do alot of gory details. So very age appropriate. The value was also worth it!

We’ve purchased about six of these games from Crpytic Killers and have a blast with each and every one! This game was especially entertaining as it took place prior to a lot of our current technology. It was fun to see the information reflect this! You’ll see what I mean! The difficulty level and length of time indicated on the package is generally accurate. The storyline is intriguing and easy to follow. The conclusion of the game makes sense and is fun to read as it ties everything together. We love following the clues to catch our killer!

We didn’t know what to expect going into this, but this was a good family, fun activity that lasted an entire evening. There was a lot to read, a lot of evidence to go through, and a couple twist that sent us looking in multiple different directions. I would totally recommend this product.
