Why does the warning lable say " may have chemicals and lead" i get the chemical part but why would it contain lead?

It's actually the coffee content. Google coffee prop 65. This is a blanket warning required by the state of California. The chemical they are "warning" about is acrylamide, not lead. It naturally occurs in some foods when cooked at high temperatures, coffee being one. You can go on google scholar and see case studies on it. The chemical is not well researched yet, but in 2010 the nonprofit Council for Education and Research on Toxics filed a lawsuit against a handful of coffee companies and now they require the warning on coffee products. You can research and draw your own conclusions, but its not lead, nor the soil etc. Personally I love adding this to my already high caff morning coffee so clearly it doesn't bother me. With or without mushrooms.

Many reviewers say the # of servings are much less than what is stated on the package, so exactly how many servings does this actually make?

I didn't count but the container is very deceiving. When I opened it for the first time the powder was up to about a quarter of the container, maybe less. Great product but I don't understand the reason for that little issue.

Why the prop 65 warning?

Great question! Worrying about Prop 65 is the last thing I want you to be doing. The statement you are asking about is required by a labeling law in California called Proposition 65.
