What a great purchase! My daughters love it and we play with it every day. Love that there are so many options to build it and play with it. Even us adults have been having a great time 😅 I was concerned at seeing some of the reviews talking about the strong smell. There was absolutely no smell when we received it. We left all pieces out for the night so they fluff and we were able to enjoy it în the morning.

I couldn’t be happier with this kids’ modular couch! The 12-piece set is incredibly versatile and keeps my child engaged for hours. I chose this couch because I was excited about the pieces and could immediately think of so many things that could be built with it - couch, car, mountain, cave, basket, tent. I loved the balls for extra games too. My daughter is still small so for now I do most of the building but it's great for giving her a cushioned landing while she practices sitting, standing, and soon to be crawling!The covers were all fairly easy to remove, clean, and put back on. The balls were the only things I couldn't remove.The only thing I don't love is the black zippers on the light pink fabric. White would have been less noticeable.

My kids loved this thing right away! We got straight to building and climbing and they are having a lot of fun.I love how many pieces it comes with, it gives us so many options for fort building and obstacle courses. The foam is nice and firm and the covers are soft and comfy.If you're expecting a nugget-sized couch, it's not that big. However, for us, that's not a con, because it's still plenty large for my 1 and half and 3 year old. I'd say it's probably still be big enough for climbing for the average 5/6 year old, and for using as a couch, heck, my husband and I can fit on it comfortably for that.My two cons are first, shipping took a bit. It was a week and half, which isn't terrible- but with the shipping cost being 30 dollars, I would have expected it sooner.The other downside is it has a little bit of a chemical smell to it. Upon opening it was a bit noticeable. The next day you wouldn't notice unless your face was right up in it- but if your kids are playing it, they are right up in it. It's been 6 days and I can still smell it if I sniff it. It's cold out for us right now, but if you buy this when the weather is nice I'd recommend spreading the pieces out near open windows to let them air out for awhile.

I’ve been wanting to purchase a play couch for my daughter for a while now and just never pulled the trigger as the name brand ones were too expensive for the number of pieces you’d get. I decided to give this one a shot due to the high number of pieces included (12) and the versatility of the various shapes included.The couch came in a square box with airtight packaging for each of the couch piece. My husband and I opened each piece and let it sit out over night to take expand and take it’s form. We originally wanted to take the covers off to wash but realized that it actually takes quite bit of effort to take the covers off and wasn’t sure how well we would be able to put it back on so we decided to just use a towel to wipe it clean.Once it was all ready, we introduced it to our daughter. The velvet fabric is soft and the couch itself is firm but comfortable. My daughter loves to climb all over it and use it to practice her standing. While she’s not old enough to build her own forts and stuff, she enjoys playing with whatever my husband and I build for her. She loves to knock the circle pieces around. Sometimes I think my husband and I have more fun with it. When my daughter goes to bed at night, my husband and I sometimes lay on it on the floor to watch TV instead of sitting on the couch. My daughter loves having her own little couch in the living room and would climb up to sit in it. I can’t wait for my daughter to grow with this play couch and use it to climb, flip, jump, lay, and build.

So if anyone is not sure about this for the kids don't worry and just buy it! I already bought the other 8 piece version for my niece and nefew. They absolutely love it! It's perfect for them to be creative, they can build forts with it and make cool structures with enough of them. It's sturdy enough for a 4 yr old to sit on top of a tower build from it, yet soft enough they can jump off something high up and cushion there fall. Its also a good little couch and easy to clean aswell..It's great fun for everyone! Lol

We bought this as a Christmas gift, hoping for a dupe of the more expensive play couch. This is not it. Unfortunately, it has a strong smell initially. We aired it out and tried to use it, however the large pieces aren’t connected like other play couches, so building any structure or slide is virtually impossible without it falling apart. I needed to take the cover off to wash (toddlers are messy) however, although it zips the smaller pieces are SO DIFFICULT to remove, almost not possible since it’s so snug. And then, after removing I find MOLD on some of the pieces. I know that no liquids have been spilled so I am assuming it came this way. Buyer beware.

We opened it and I immediately had to use my inhaler. Let it air out in the garage but the smell is still strong. My daughter loves it so I will give it a chance. The color is very pretty and the fabric is soft. I just wish it didn't make my house smell like a chemical plant.UPDATE: 2 weeks later and the smell is mostly gone. We decided to keep them because my little loved them so much. They are nice but I don't think I would put myself through this again.
