LifePrint Phot & Video Printer
LifePrint I believe, was the first printer where you can print your videos. You read it correctly: Using the LifePrint app, create a video. Then create a cover print. Using the app, hover your smartphone over the photo, and your video comes to life. I've purchased a few & given it to our surgical fellows to use at work, home, etc. It's a time saver. I have one also (need to purchase another one, friends "borrow" & don't return them). Great for those friends on the go. The printer is shirt pocket size, well built, easily rechargeable & uses the ZINK brand of liquid crystal paper. Four stars because the instruction booklet could be alittle easier to use-easier to watch the How To on YouTube. RECOMMEND: buy a couple (I've ordered more).

One of the poorer implementations of Zink
The app is very bad. It forces you to create an account including your date of birth and all personal info. Once you do this, it adds you to an in-house social network. Every image you try to print, it tries to add to 3 different social networks. In addition to the pain of skipping social network issues, it tries to print portions of the live photo instead of the actual image. So you choose a blurry portion of a live photo because it WILL NOT allow you just to print the photo, you have to print a video which it converts into augmented reality on their social platform. If you can get it to print (the app is terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE), then the quality is mediocre at best. The colors are always way off.I usually don't write negative review but this is warranted.

Programming doesn’t work well. When I can get it to print it’s great quality

For what it is...
For what this printer is about. I love the thing! I wish there was a VR option with this printer so I can do a gallery with the photos easier. It would be pretty cool. The short amount of time that these photos can be used is sad. 15 seconds. And the only real problem is the printer has a hard time with duplicate live photos.I love mine! I use this in my journals and projects.

Only 2 pro’s, as far as I can tell...and I bought this at an apple store, not amazon!
Before you purchase this printer, please consider the following. If you’ve accidentally sent a picture to print and want to remove it from the queue, you can’t...at least I can’t. The answer on a community board was to “left swipe” and when I left swipe on my iPhone, nothing happens, there is no “delete” button that pops up to let you remove the picture. The print quality is remarkably inconsistent and it seems as if I’m running out of ink but I’ve printed a total of 15? pictures. The printer was fully charged after a full evening of being plugged in and after printing about 7 pictures this morning, it is down to 66 percent after about 15 minutes. Once I’ve selected a picture to print and sent it to the printer, the image loads very quickly up to 70.1% and then it just hangs out there for what seems like an eternity and then begins printing. The only aspects I like at this point would be that the film becomes a sticker, making my use of the pictures much easier, and a 40 pack of film is reasonably priced. I would not buy this again!

Got an iPhone? I don't.
So there are a lot of weasel words in the manual and on the box... They all amount to: "go online and look at our compatibility list"That would be great if stores didn't cover that warning with antitheft bs. I bought this at bestbuy because it said "android" compatible. That's not true, it should read "Works with these android phones only: Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, HTC 10, HTC 10 Ultra, LG G5, Google Pixel, Sony Xperia XZ"If you don't have one of those phones, don't bother. I just spent 3 hours trying to get it to work because the website implies it will by stating only those devices are optimized Total waste of time.
