What a great Idea for kiddos with special inserts or braces. We had searched everywhere for shoes that would fit his braces and to no avail. Someone suggested these are they were great!!. I ordered two sizes larger that his regular size shoe so that the braces would fit. They are perfect. So easy to put his braces on in his shoes that this 5 year old can do it himself. So happy someone was clever enough to think of these.

The shoes are very stylish, cute and affordable for growing fragile feet. We purchased these for our 3 year old child who has osteogenesis Imperfecta. She’s required to wear leg braces and these shoe were perfect for them. She feels stylish, easy enough to use for her alone. She complains in no pain, and they’re quite durable for an active 3 year olds feet and activity.

My child uses braces and these shoes were the only ones we could find to fit. However, the soles are already starting to rip apart after wearing for a little over a month. Amazon return window has passed and the Billy shoes website says that warranty only covers purchases from them directly, so I guess we are out of luck.

If your kid has AFOs, these are a game changer, and you must get these. These are far better than just getting bigger shoes, and the zipper makes them so easy to get on. They are pricey, but VERY much worth it if you have a kid with AFOs. The ones with glittery sides or decoration do eventually fade or get rubbed off (my kid kicks her wheelchair and everything else she can a lot, so the sides and the back get worn easily for us).

The styles are amazing, my daughter has worn these shoes for about 6 years now! She wear braces due to her being born with clubbed feet and these shoes are the only ones that fit around her braces so easily! The sizes of the shoes are amazing! The support and functionality of them are also amazing they help her walk and run better and help keep her feet as straight as possible!! Most definitely will be staying a loyal customer to this brand! We order 2 pairs of shoes about every 6 months!

Fits great around my 6 year old's AFO braces! Cost is a bit high considering how much AFOs & all other medical expenses can be altogether, but definitely good quality shoes that seem like they'll last through some wear & tear.

These are perfect for AFO's with hinges!

Normally we love Billy shoes (we normally purchase in store). However I decided to order on line this time and I am so disappointed in the quality of these shoes. My daughter hasn’t even been wearing these for two weeks yet. The grommets have come apart and the sole is starting to come detached!!!! She only where’s them 5 hours a day 5 days a week (at school, mostly in side)
