I was nervous about buying this online. I even measured myself to be sure. I am only 5 feet tall and 200 pounds. My waist is 38 inches and my hips are 44 inches. Even with all these measurements, the hoops skirt still fits me! The waist is stretchable and there’s even a tie and velcro to secure it more if it’s still loose. I love it so much! I used it for my wedding dress! The photos are Before and After pictures listed. My wedding dress looks like a Fairy Tale Ballgown! Now I know the secret behind all the volume in ballgowns! This was great for the queen costume I needed it for and allowed for great ventilation, it also helped with allowing the dress not to drag too much on the floor.The only thing that bothered me was the Velcro on the back made it a little uncomfortable so I had to unvelcro and just use the string.

Worked for period piece dress.
