CHAMBERLAIN B2401 Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener, Gray

Seems to be a very good Garage Door and works well. Not bad to assemble, but you may need some assistance in actually getting it mounted into your ceiling. It is not heavy, but when you connect the far end to above the Garage door, it is very likely that if you are solo that you will damage it. This unit does support WIFI. What I like about it is not using it to open the door, but more so to see if the door opens when you are not there. You can also remote from anywhere with WIFI or cellular capability open the door from remote so they can put a package inside, or even if you want to open it to allow someone else that you trust to go inside. There are a tone of options with this one. While the unit is not Noisy or over loud, you can hear it operate! There was 1 critical Part that was missing, and a quick contact to support at Chamberlin they had one immediately shipped out to me with out any questions.

This is a fantastic GD opener at a great price. I bought it to replace a 20+ year old Liftmaster (made by Chamberlain) and used the old mounts, belt rail, shuttle, sensors and door attach hardware. It fit perfectly into the old mounts but uses a different type of belt (20 tooth) than my old opener. I also had to get a longer belt than the 234” belt that came with it ($50 on Amazon). Once that arrived, it all went together well. The setup was easy, just follow the directions, and it is a LOT quieter than my old opener. I like the fact that you can open and close it over the internet using the app. Now my wife wants one for her garage door - arraaagh!

I like the unit. It is smooth and very quiet. It went up as most garage door openers. What I did not like, and I’m old school, was the fact there were no paper directions or any to print that I could find. Plus the video was animated or no one real. It’s hard to, at least for me, work off a ladder with a phone in my hand. I’m use to manual labor but I don’t like climbing up and down a ladder dozens of times more than I should.One more thing, I took down a genie with a screwdrive and that unit, you could unlock the trolley and move the door to any position and re-lock the trolley back into that screwdriver and it would not move manually. Now it does have a battery back up so as long as that works, I guess things will be OK.Otherwise, I like the unit. Hope this helps. All in all I think you would have a quality unit.

Easy install. Quiet. Good price. Love the belt drive. Remote(s) don't have a great range but Chamberlain reputation makes this unit a winner.

Can't lie, this intimidated me.I have an 8 year old home with a 3 car garage, and the Linear chain driven opener on the two-car side started bumping and popping - gear on the drive unit somehow stripped out. Lived with it for a few days and then ordered this. I've been wanting a belt driven opener for some time because I have a neighbor with them and they are whisper quiet.I revived this, and again, I was intimidated. But this comes with a very well detailed, step-by-step manual, as well as a clear and easy to follow instructional video. Very impressive! Installed it in little over an hour (mostly because I took a few breaks).As for the opener itself, I wish I had purchased this sooner. Whisper quiet, and easy to calibrate - no turning of screws and guessing if you got the up/down stop points right. And there's an app to operate and monitor the opener.This is simply phenomenal! And if you're on the fence because you may be a little intimidated like I was, don't be. You can do this, thanks to the absolutely excellent instructions and video.Love this so much, I'm going to purchase another for my 3rd car garage. It hasn't failed yet, but it's a Linear chain drive as well and having this one makes it sound absolutely obnoxious.I highly recommend this!
