B661AT W.C. Fill Valve Bottom Entry, one Colour

Great product, easy to install, delivered fast, I bought this valve to replace the same valve that I installed fourteen years ago, so I know how reliable the valve is.

I bought htis 8 months ago. The previous fitting had been in the house since it was built in 1970 and I could not easily get spares for it. This looked quite compact and was reputed to be a quiet refil. I bought it becaus it seemd easy to fit, I would not need to employ a plumber ans was cheap. The biggest problem was getting the old one out. Fitting was very easy, the only fiddly bit was setting the float.However 8 months later the ring holding the plasic inlet sleeve has broken so the it is nolonger very quiet when filling. As it has never been touched since being fitted I can find no reason for this breakage. In spite of it being a fairly lightweight fitting, I do feel it should not have broken where it did.

I have 2 loos with Torbeck valves so wanted the third one to match as I like the way they fill continuously until full then stop quickly rather than gradually slowing and often dripping like the older ball valve type which was fitted 20 years ago.My only issue with this one was that they have extended the top clip-on bit which re-directs the water into the tank so it would not fit like my others but I soon found how to make it work.One thing they have improved is the flow restrictor which stops the pipes banging when the flow stops. One of my other ones had to have an extra part fitted to make this right. This one comes with 2 flow restrictors for different water pressures but the standard one already fitted works perfectly.Very easy to fit with good and very clear instructions.
