I cannot say enough good things about this Grocery Store! My three year old absolutely loves his grocery store, and it has quickly become his favorite playtime activity. The quality is great it's incredibly sturdy and well made.Assembly was surprisingly easy. I was able to put it together in about an hour, and the instructions were simple to follow. Once set up, it looked just like a real mini grocery store, complete with a checkout counter, scanner, and shelves.What really makes this special is how it encourages creativity and role-playing. My little one loves grabbing his grocery cart, filling it up with all his play food, scanning items at the checkout, and then heading to the kitchen to cook his purchases. It's the perfect way to teach him about shopping, counting, and even social skills as he takes turns being the cashier and the customer.Melissa & Doug always deliver high-quality, thoughtful toys, and this one is no exception. The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for my kids I purchased the Melissa & Doug fresh mart grocery store with it for $20. I highly recommend purchasing that as well. This is very sturdy very nice quality super easy to put together. I recommend following the paper instructions because the YouTube video has extra pieces you do not need for this specific product. It is alil time consuming putting together I will admit but definitely worth it for the kiddos. I have no dislikes about this product. I also haven’t fully used it so when I do if I have any dislikes I will edit this review.

OK, so we bought this for my son a year ago for Hanukkah and it had been sitting in our garage for that entire time. I randomly decided yesterday to clean the playroom and assemble this on my own. First, big props to the folks at Melissa & Doug for such a thoughtful and easy-to-follow set of directions. The pieces are super well labeled and organized. The only tool you will need besides what’s provided is a simple screw driver. I didn’t feel like engaging my husband for help, so I used the little screw driver that comes with Ring cameras. Lazy, sure. But it worked. From start to finish with kids interrupting, it took my about an hour and a half to assemble. The components feel very durable, and my son could not wait to start playing. It looks very cute and has so many realistic features. My son is 5 and my daughter is 1.5, and it feels like a great toy for both ages.

It took me about an hour & a half to build it myself other than needing my husband's help with smashing pieces together to fit more securely. Instructions were 10/10 to follow. I missed a letter but that was on me. Otherwise i would have been done sooner. I only had one piece that came broken & that was letter k. Unlike the kitchen, this pretend play came really good. All the other pieces did not have any scratches or chips. I was really happy about that. I did also get the companion set to complete this mart. Do I think it'll withstand a toddler? Time will tell. I do think I will have to supervise to make sure tot is not climbing nor laying the smackdown on the shelves. I did initially think this was tiny but after completing the build I think it's a decent size. It's not heavy enough where you can't rearrange it to another area after a while. There's lots of aspects that foster learning with this. My kiddo really likes his electronic scanner from another brand so we'll see how young tot likes this one.

My granddaughter had us up for hours restocking and playing grocery store with her. She loved it. Gonna have to buy some type of shelf to add more grocery items. She played with this for hours on Christmas Day. This item was easy to assemble and very sturdy. Would definitely recommend.

This is a really nice toy, as expected from Melissa and Doug. Assembly was very easy and fairly quick - about 2 hours. Instructions are clear and the entire thing is very sturdy. I did purchase the recommended extra kit which added all the items at check out, money, and some boxed and canned “foods.” My daughter is going to love this on Christmas morning.I took off one star because the “fresh mart” sign on top didn’t come framed as pictured on the box. I also noticed all the previous reviews had the sign in a sturdy frame that screws into the top. Mine was a flimsy sign that slides into a groove (see pic). To make matters worse, it didn’t fit into the groove when I added the accessory kit. I had to cut around the corners in order to make it work. But it’s still flimsy and will undoubtedly end up on the floor and eventually in the trash. So I am disappointed because this is likely a cost cutting measure which was implemented poorly. They should also update the picture on the box because I spent a lot time going back through all the packaging to look for a frame that wasn’t there.

The media could not be loaded. I am in love with this. It took about 2 1/2 hours but for me that isn't too long, I normally can't put these things together but this was very simple. Everything is labeled alphabetically and numerically. I advise to take all parts out and spread them across the floor or a flat surface. It goes in order for the most part when you put together. The only thing I would say is when you get to step 17/18 .... try attaching that long piece (I believe it is piece N) to the conveyer belt without the converyer belt being on the stand. Have it off and put the 3 screws in first and then place the converter belt down because it was hard for me to level it all up with not much support. You can also insert the credit card into the machine (like you do with the chip). This stand is so lovely and worth every penny. It is a great learning tool for children. So many fun ideas.
