Hugely beneficial to staying independent
The assembly was straight forward and, once we got the measurements right, the assistance it gave was even better than expected. Thank you.

Strong, Sturdy and Easy-to-Use Toilet Lift
This is a large, heavy, strong and very substantial item, and my first advice would be to ensure you thoroughly measure the available space around your toilet to ensure the lift will fit in.The lift seamlessly and quietly rises and falls by way of a wired control unit (and not, as the listing says, 'by a button on the left armrest'). The control unit has only two buttons with up and down arrows; therefore, it is very simple to operate. This toilet lift will arrive in a large, heavy box, so my next advice would be, if you know you would struggle lifting this, it would be best to arrange some help to be there when it arrives to help to set it up and to manoeuvre into position once assembled. The lift, which works entirely from a mains power socket, was easy to put together; all required tools are included, and the instruction manual is straightforward, featuring photographs of each step and part. Even someone with very little DIY knowledge could complete the assembly in about 15 to 25 minutes. The lift functions very well, easily lifting my husband, who weighs 19.5 stone. According to the listing, the maximum weight for the appliance is 150 kg, which is approximately 23.6 stone.Overall, I think that the KIMINA Toilet Lift is a well-built, strong, and solid piece of equipment. However, it is quite large and takes up a lot of space around the toilet, so please ensure you measure thoroughly before ordering. One small niggle is that I would have liked to have seen some sort of cover over the various cables at the back of the device, as I do think that all the nooks and crannies in-between the cables will end up being quite difficult to keep clean. For your confidence in this Vine Voice review, I am under no obligation as to what I can or cannot write, and I only ever leave honest and unbiased opinions, whether they be positive or negative.Thank you for reading my review, and I hope you find it helpful.

Seems very well made
This looks like it will work for many many years. The assembly and installation process was straightforward and time-efficient, taking approximately 40 minutes from start to finish. The product's design allowed for a simple and secure fit around the toilet, ensuring a seamless integration into the user's bathroom. In addition to its easy setup, the product operates quietly, making it an unobtrusive addition to the user's home. The user expressed satisfaction with the product's performance and was pleased with their decision to allow me to install this incredible product. Only negative is the lack of battery backup power, but not enough to reduce the star rating

At just under £800 it’s quite expensive but the way it makes my Dad’s life easier is well worth it.
My dad is in his 90s and has problems with seats. Sitting down is sort of OK although tends to land fairly hard but getting up is always a problem. I bought him a spring loaded pad for his arm chair which helps to lift him up but he has problems standing up from the toilet. I’ve fixed grab handle to the toilet wall but he doesn’t have a good grip and finds them difficult to use.Spring loaded or motorised toilet frames are very expensive so when I saw this was available for free via the Amazon Vine scheme I jumped at the chance to order it.It arrived in a large heavy box which unfortunately the delivery driver had put down on the wet ground and as a result the contents nearly fell out of the bottom of the box as I carried it indoors. It’s quick and easy to assemble and install and fits around the toilet well. As far as I know it’s a standard size toilet but it would be best to check the dimensions before you order. It took me about half an hour to get it assembled and working. It seems well made and is fairly solid which is useful as my Dad is no lightweight. It seems quite stable and unlikely to tip.The motor is fairly quiet but powerful. It needs mains power but there wasn’t a socket in the bathroom so I ran a cable from a socket in the hall through a small hole drilled in the wall and used exterior grade waterproof connectorsAt just under £800 it’s quite expensive but the way it makes my Dad’s life easier is well worth it.

Brilliant
KMINA - Electric Toilet Seat Raiser, Toilet Frame for The Elderly, Raised Toilet Seat with Handles, Tilting Toilet Raised Seat, Toilet Lifter for Disabled, Lifting Aids for WCPrice £799.99My mam is currently awaiting a hip replacement so this has given her some of her Independence back as she waits.... she is now able to get on and off the toilet with ease. This toilet riser is sturdy and compact, making it a reliable choice for those in need of assistance, particularly elderly individuals with mobility challenges. Its quality materials and intuitive assembly, complemented by a helpful instructional video, enhance the user experience. It is super easy to use and the motor is quiet. It is fully adjustable so it can cater for various heights. it also comes with a really long cable so no need to worry about the battery going flat, although having a cable across the bathroom floor can be danger if not placed correctly. The price is a little costly but worth its weight in gold to give my mum some of her independence back and I will certainly be paying it forward.
