I used this product to treat lace wing bugs as recommended for azaleas. Only hope it works as as only just used it.

Had terrible plum aphid problem for 2 years and no plums. used this at the beginning of the spring, Hasn't stopped all of the leaf curl but has certainly doen the job and now have a bumper crop of plums growing nicely and happy that I have done this with an organic problem. The downside is - Neem Oil absolutely stinks! (small price to pay).

I used it to get rid off unts in my citric potted trees. The good news is that the unts hate this stuff and works to a great extent. You have to treat the pots a few times. But one can be the most of it, by emersing the pots in a larger tub for 30 min, with a mix of these two and plant feed. If you are not more stubburn than the unts, you might fail.

I bought this to treat two lemon trees which I am growing in pots indoors. They have scale. I made a solution according to the instructions and sprayed them both. On one the leaves have shrivelled up. The other one seems ok. They have both lost a lot of leaves. I am hoping in the spring when I can put them outside more they will revitalise. Not sure if the Neem oil is an effective cure, but I will continue to apply it every week in the hope that it is.

This was quite a faff to use as I didn’t have a small measuring cup. So I had to buy one to get the measurements right. Then it says to mix with 1 litre of water, but then you have to use the mixture within 8 hours of making it. Just seems a bit of a waste as I’m never going to use it all in that amount of time as I’m just spraying my plants once a week. Also, it does have quite a strong nutty smell but this doesn’t last so it’s not so bad. It’s probably a good product but was just too much effort and waste for me.

I am currently using this to make up a spray solution to spray dogs prior to early morning walks in the park when I think insects are more active and, therefore, biting. Very easy to make up into spray bottle. The guide states to use 10ml of the Hort Gentle Soap with 5ml Neem Oil control into one litre of water. I am making this up with half-litre of water to make stronger solution. So far, so good, dogs not scratching nearly as much as in previous years. My dogs suffer with itchy skin from end August until end November approx. Not too sure whether it is early morning insects or something they are allergic to this time of year from the grass e.g. pollens etc. Well worth a try to anyone else whose dogs are suffering same type of problem. I contacted Deidre, Customer Services, Pink Sun Ltd, by email and received excellent response and very helpful advice. Be aware that this solution does tend to make the dogs fur very slightly oily, just in case your pet goes onto furniture/carpets etc.
