Moir's Greengage Jelly Powder 80 g (Pack of 6)

I use this to make trifles. Slice sponge cake (a cheap swiss roll, maybe?) in a bowl. Add fruit (I've been using Tesco frozen not perfectly shaped: one bag, enough for at least three trifles!). Pour over this "greengage jelly". Leave to set. Pour some custard over top.I WISH this really tasted of greengages! Wow - at this price, it'd really be quite something!As it is, it's a fruit-flavoured jelly, cheaper than others, which sets well. Probably best as part of a recipe - as I've described.

I like the fact that Amaxon has Moirs jelly , but would like other flavours as well, like cherry

Thus jelly us supposed to taste of greengage, the only thing the 2 have in common is the colour.

I ENJOYED GREENGAGE JELLY MORE THAN SIXTY YEARS AGO BUT IT DISAPPEARED FROM THE MARKET SO I WAS DELIGHTED TO FIND THIS PRODUCT. IT BRINGS BACK MANY HAPPY MEMORIES AND IS A CLOSE COPY OF THE JELLY THAT I REMEMBER ALL THOSE YEARS AGO !
