How many washes is this product expected to last for? Do I need to use "special" soaps?

Hi there. When properly cared for, your Scrubba wash bag should last for hundreds of uses! You can extend the life-span of your bag by following the below care and maintenance tips (please refer to our website for more details):
- Rinse and turn the Scrubba wash bag inside-out to dry after each use.
- Avoid exposure to temperatures over 50°C (122°F) or sunlight which can damage the inner and outer coatings of the Scrubba wash bag.                                                                                                  
- Take care when washing clothes with zips, buckles or other hard features 
- Avoid sharp or abrasive surfaces that can accelerate the wear and tear of the Scrubba wash bag.  As with all waterproof products, try to clear sharp twigs and other objects from the area to avoid puncture.

A variety of detergents have been tested in the Scrubba wash bag with success but in general we've found the use of liquid detergents to be more efficient due to the extra time it takes to dissolve solid detergents (powders, leaves, etc.). Using a small dollop of liquid enables active suds immediately, reducing the overall time required for rubbing out a wash. When using the bag outdoors, we recommend that eco-friendly bio detergents are used, ensuring that gray water is disposed of at least 200 feet from water sources. Regards, Scrubba team

What’s the difference between the standard scrubba bag and the tactical version? Is it just the colour? Thanks

"The Scrubba tactical bag was designed in consultation with a former Australian SAS team leader. In addition to your favourite Scrubba wash bag features, the tactical bag comes equipped with an extra large twist-style valve. This allows for easy opening and quicker deflation, simplifying the washing process from start to finish. And, obviously the colours of the bag are different with the Scrubba wash bag coming in green or black and the Tactical wash bag comes in brown. Hopefully that answers your question!
