Very good book --useful for anyone with an interest in space!
I have a keen interest in space and astronomy and collect all kinds of books on the subject--childrens, university level, antiquated, up-to-date--you name it! Although this book is aimed at young readers, I believe anyone of any age with an interest in the subject would find it interesting.

Excellent book, great graphics and heaps of information
This is a great book. it has a lot of information so it would suit older children but the flaps and pictures make it interesting for younger ones too. My son got it when he was 4 and he has been crazy over this book ever since. He used to take it to preschool and the other kids loved it too, so much so that when he finished there we gave them a copy. Other space books for children seem a bit basic and dull in comparison.

Informative and exciting book.
Brilliant illustrations, informative and educational book. I bought it for my nearly 2 year old grandson, just to give him an insight of our world and solar system. You should see the wonder and smile on his face.

Good 1st space book
My four year old really enjoys this first space book, it’s a bedtime favourite although the information is pitched for much older children the pop up planets at the start and pictures keep him interested.

Great book and fun learning
This book is ideal for little ones learning about space. Both my grandsons love it and as they have learned to read it has become their go to book for browsing.

better for older age groups
my 4 year old son wanted this book because hie friend had it. The initial pop up solar system is brilliant and makes the buy worthwhile. However, the rest of it is better suited to older kids. NB: only one page pops up.

We started with the There's No Place Like Space and LeapFrog LeapReader Interactive Solar System
My son is 4 years now and fond of space books and toys. We started with the There's No Place Like Space and LeapFrog LeapReader Interactive Solar System. This book is more in details about planets, not even names and size and how it is far from the Sun, but what is the size of each planet, what is the weather and more info about dwarf planets, not complicated and appropriate for kids. My son received it together with space shuttle playmobil 6196 (it looks like shuttle on the front page) and he was very happy!
