Scepter Portable Diesel Fuel Tank, Gas Storage Caddy with Pump & Hose, 14 Gallon

I love these fuel cells. I now have 6 of these, 4 for gasoline, and two for diesel. I recently purchased a compact tractor that runs on diesel and needed fuel cells to have on the ranch to fill it. They are really convenient and if hoisted a bit make gravity your friend. I already had gasoline ones for my previous tractor, lawn mower, and generator. That is why I bought the same brand. They are tough, easy to use, and handy storage units for fuel. The hoses could be a better quality, a bit stiff in my opinion and the pump lever lock is a pain to use.

First, the people complaining about this not working dont understand gravity. It is not pressurized and the outlet at the bottom of the tank and the lowest point of the hose must be higher than the top of your container or it wont work. The higher you place it the more pressure it will flow with.It is not fast but its a lot easier to hold the squeeze handle of the dispenser than hold up a full five gallon tank of diesel to fill my tractor.I mounted a heavy duty hook and built a heavy duty shelf so that the weight of this (little over 100lbs full) is split between the hook and shelf. I lift it full from the back of the truck to the hook with pallet forks on the tractor.The first one I received had a leak at the factory hose crimp. I contacted the company through Amazon and they promptly sent a replacement hose with no hassle at no charge.The second hose does not leak a drop.I like it enough I'm going to buy its red cousin.

Good product but heavy when full. Not an easy lift.

It’s a good way to go if you don’t want a high dollar greasy tank in the back of you truck.

The first time I used it, it worked great. Second time I used it, leaving gas in it overnight completely ate up the rubber paper, thin bladder seal, and it poured more gas out of the handle than it did out of the spout completely covering me and the motorcycle and gasoline definitely not safe for indoor or outdoor use once I pulled the handle, gas continued pouring out of every crack in the handle until I shut the main valve off on the tank

Be aware that this drips a substantial amount of diesel out of the pump handle at its hose attachment point and through the hand pump itself making a diesely mess of where ever it’s stood.The container itself is fine, the stiff hose and poor attachment seal and dispenser handle let this product down.

I'm extremely happy with the product's build, particularly its lightweight design and ideal gas capacity. The fact that it's compact and comes with wheels makes it easy to store and transport, and using it is a breeze.
