LEMON BALM -Melissa officinalis - Herb garden 500 SEEDS

good quality seed which all germinated and are growing nicely into pretty healthy lemon balm. I never used this mint before but looking forward to some tasty cups of teas as it has many benefits for the body. it is perennial which will grow year after year in my garden. this herb does behave like mint which means if you grow it somewhere it will spread to other parts of you garden.

Lack of advice and instruction - no notice about where they were coming from - in this case, China...?

These seeds arrived in good condition and they also grew very well. They have a wonderful sweet scent to them when disturbed and the plants themselves last a long time. I would recommend growing them indoors or in a greenhouse as pests also enjoy nibbling on their leaves (slugs, etc.).They make a lovely kitchen windowsill plant (at least that's where I've got mine!).

Just half of the seeds germinated, but still ... I have what I wanted. Lemonbalm is like weed, it is going to grow more and more ... Thank you.

I don't know what the seeds were from, but it wasn't a lemon balm plant. Fortunately, I planted them in a container - and when they came up I burned them. I won't be buying seeds from China again - it seems a good way to introduce potentially invasive and destructive plants.

Seeds contained in plain small clear plastic bag. No planting instructions. The only identification of contents is the name written in black felt tip pen on the bag. As for specifying a specific number of seeds - well I certainly wasn't going to count them and I bet whoever put them in the little bag didn't either. I've sowed them and am waiting for them to sprout.

These arrived very promptly. The seeds look very healthy.. Haven't planted them yet - looking forward to lots of plants to make lemon balm wine. Instructions clear and well written.

They have grown and smell amazing.
