Bose Smart Soundbar 600 with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth Wireless Sound Bar for TV with Build-in Microphone and Alexa Voice Control, Black

This is the first verified purchase review, so, am going to be as detailed as possible for my fellow shoppers:1. Packaging- Three layers of protection, very well done by amazon- The bose packaging itself really amazing. The soundbar and accessories are very well packed- Overall, you can be confident that this will be delivered safely to you2. Contents- Comes with a soundbar (duh!), a very minimal but functional remote, an HDMI cable, 3 power cords (yes, three!)- The quality of the HDMI cable is top notch with Bose branding at each end- Now, the three power cables are not all useable, you have to select the right cord (really easy when you look at them). I think they ship three cords because the packaging is for APAC region3. Material, Looks and Display- The material is plastic casing (sturdy and well built). There is metal casing around the tranceducers- Remote looks quite premium and comes with a good plastic covering (don't remove it, it is really nicely done)- There is no display on the soundbar itself other than a dynamic LED. I like that alot! The soundbar just disappears and is not a distraction at all!4. Alexa and Voice Control- If you have an Alexa device, you know how it functions. This smart soundbar will function exactly like that- Ensure that you go to the Bose music app to set up Alexa and change the language to English (IN). If you don't, Alexa will not understand a damn thing- Do set up the Voice4Video in the Bose app, this will help you control inputs with just your voice. Works really well5. Sound Quality (THE BIG DADDY!!!)- First thing I did was play RRR on Netflix. Two reasons - it is a brilliant movie and is ATMOS content- Talking about ATMOS, this soundbar is ATMOS enabled and does a fantastic job at that. DO NOT expect magic though. But, I can confidently say that it will engage you quite well- Next I played a few songs (using Alexa). The instrument separation was brilliant. Great sounding bar for music- Then I played a cricket match. Voice clarity was brilliant. I don't know what Bose has done. But the bar adopts to the content really well- I played all this content on factory EQ settings. Then, tested the same content with change in the EQ settings. The sound quality improves slightly with the EQ. Keep the bass at +20 and top firing speakers at +30. The emmersiveness will improve with that- I have it set up in a room that is 16 ft × 12 ft. It fills up the entire room at just 70% volume- Now the bass. Honestly, I don't think you need a bass module with this. The bass on its own is satisfactory. The bass is deep and it sounds as intended. If you are looking for a booooom bass, this is not the product for you. Of course adding a bass module will help. But I really don't think it is neededI wanted to rate this bar 4.5 but there is no option to do that. Not full 5 stars because it wasn't magical.Don't get me wrong. The sound quality and everything else is amazing. Buy this and you will not regret. Happy listening!

As an audiophile, I'm genuinely impressed by the bass this speaker produces. It's not just loud; it's a rich, deep resonance that fills the room. My neighbors can attest to its power! Combined with my Bose Subwoofer, the audio experience is transformative. The Dolby surround sound is incredibly detailed, revealing nuances in movies and music that I hadn't noticed before. Almost a year of usage, it delivers! Occasionally gives troubles in connecting to TV & external devices but rare. Sound output is decent for an average size room. Quality of sound is above average.

Bose is a good product, so there is no issue with purchasing that. If you are reasonably gadget savvy, installing the product is easy. However, if the installation support matters, you could be disappointed. I had an installation appointment between 10 and 2pm on Sunday, but when I contacted the technician, I was told he does not works Sundays. I had shifted some personal work and travel to accommodate this and despite three calls to Amazon (who kept insisting the person will come) and multiple attempts to reach the brand all that remains is wasted efforts.Seemed very unprofessional.In summary, good purchase as long as you don’t need their installation support.

The media could not be loaded. Like: excellent sound base treble clarityDislike: highly priced, will not connect with HDMI or Bluetooth one in 5 time. Very unpredictable connectivity. I got this delivered in 24.10 24 but installation person visited on 15.11 24. While trying to call him on schedule date He wasvery rude. Amazon helpline is useless. Pls don’t buy

Sound quality:If you’re playing Dolby Atmos content it will give you many surprises at times which is truly a technological advancement by Bose into this compact soundbar.If you love high base 3D features like other brands then it might disappoint you but a true audiophile would definitely love to hear sound in original mode it was recorded. If you setup any soundbar in 3D then you miss several of the effects the sound was originally recorded in and so one becomes used to deep base and music rather enjoying the different phases of sound waves.I had a TCL soundbar with punchy bass and an awesome 3D effect so it was difficult for me to accept this Bose soundbar but after listening it for 3-4 hours I really felt the sound, punch and several different aspect of sounds which were missing earlier due to 3D up mixing.This Bose 600 has really impressed with its Atmos effects the sound would literally touch you at times and give goosebumps. Every-time it gives goosebumps it justifies its premium pricing. Once you become addicted to this soundbar you’re more likely to buy surround speakers and subwoofer.The product despite being small in size clearly separates different channels R/C/L and moving objects.I was looking for an engaging Atmos soundbar but all I came across was a deep punch soundbars with Dolby Atmos logo and I was not happy with the soundstage….Finally after so many research and deep unboxing of Bose 600 I was kind of sure that it would create a difference and it really did.Ease of use: It’s easy to connect with tv or play songs on Spotify, amazon music or through airplay. Just smooth to connect on personal wifi network across all devices and media streaming.

Yes, it is widely known the bass isn’t that great in this model but I still bought it hoping it would be somewhat okay given Bose and the price. But within a week had to order the subwoofer (Base Module 500) to complement this. The voices are clear though!The JBL 5.1 soundbar which I am using for my other TV is similarly priced and a much better deal I feel!

The sound dynamics wil chance completely with this bar. U wil love it for sure. Alexa wont work in 5G WiFi band , u need to install it in 2.4G band. Bose 👌🏻🤩
