Q: How many tiles in the rummikub word box? the summary says "played with 40 tiles" but product description says "box contains 108 tiles"

Should be either 108 or 112. Ours is new and has 112 tiles.

Q: Which is better Rummikub twist or classic?!!

If you havent played before get the classic version. The twist version is interesting with the additional jokers but the original is better.

Q: Are the orientation of the relief logo on the tiles' back consistent with the numbers' orientation? Or are they random due to manufacturing process?

Yes, it is. And the tile is about 1.5 inch (height). A lot bigger than the rummikub travel.
