Value for money!
What an amazing value for money. A set like that at b&q costs in a region of £20 and I can’t justify them charging that amount just for the staples. Yes they are good quality staples but it is best to buy them here

Short but sweet
Very good staples. I've used these to help build a series of radiator covers and they've done the lighter parts of the job admirably. I used these 10mm staples to attach an MDF grille to the front surrounds (through the MDF into pine), and 14mm staples to attach the surround to corner supports (through pine, into pine), which they have done very securely. Even though they're "just staples", they perform really well when putting together something that is never going to take severe stresses, and there is strength in numbers when putting in a series with a nail/staple gun. With shorter staples there's obviously a degree of calculation that needs doing to ensure they will actually hold. There are many wooden and MDF sheets that are thick enough to make stapling a bad idea. In my case I was stapling a thin(-ish) MDF screen to a pine supporting frame that was 10mm thick, so it was obvious that I would staple through from the MDF side (which also hid the staples) since it was the thinner of the two parts. Done the other way around, the staples would never even reach the MDF. With 14mm staples you can often get a better choice of how to tack parts together - then again, sometimes they're just too long and would punch right through a workpiece, and that's when 10mm does well.Obviously the results you get are dependent more on how you use the staple gun rather than a reflection on the staples, pushing the gun firmly to the workpiece to avoid any recoil or bounce will get a nice flush finish. Even though they go flush with the surface really well, there will still be some filling required (or overpainting), although you may decide to conceal lines of stables with glued-on trim profiles. I'm very pleased to have been able to make a series of bespoke radiator covers using only staples, I really didn't think it would work on my first experimental one, but they do the job fine.No misfires or jams either, in my TRE550 stapler. Highly recommended!
