I purchased this liquid form as to be able to put a small amount into my granddaughter's food as she has decided no longer want her milk which she should be having at 18 months.

This contains 2 of the 4 main electrolites,which the body needs. A liquid is better absorbed than tablets which is good. These 2 go together as a pairing, & need to be kept in the right ratio, so this is far better than a single supplement. These are the two which I am low on, and indeed, most people are low in magnesium. Its far better, also, to take calcium this way, as there are problems with absorption when you get it in milk. I take it against leg cramps, & it certainly helps.

I have started taking this in the evening 1 cap in a small amount of water and holding it in my mouth for 20-30 mins to help absorption. I have also been adding it to the distilled water I drink. The taste to me isn't too bad. I'm more concerned about getting adequate amounts of calcium absorbed into my system as I am in low in Calcium (shown up in blood tests through my GP) even though my diet is rich in high calcium plant foods/juices. There can be many reasons why one can't absorb calcium, you need Vit D, Vit K2 and enough stomach acid to absorb it and I have tried all these without any impact on my calcium levels. Also oxalic acid, phytic acid found in a lot of plant foods can bind to calcium to prevent absorption so I avoid these as well. The enamel on some of my teeth is also coming off hence why I have been taking this product the above way, holding it in my mouth. It seems to have lessened my tooth pain and teeth feel "stronger" (ie not so sensitive) after doing this less than one week. I have also been sleeping better and since taking it I haven't had any restless legs but I can't put this solely down to this product. I would definitely purchase it again though I wish it came in a larger size better value bottle or was cheaper hence 4 stars not 5.

I've been taking it for a couple of months, i've noticed my nails and hair stronger within in a week of usage. DOesn't taste nice but i took it with sweet juice to improve the taste. worth the money and will continue to purchase. I have yet to see it help with my teeth which is why i got it in the first place. I want to eradicate my cavities and read taking this will help with remineralizing.

My goodness this is the worst tasting thing I've ever had in my mouth. Another reviewers description of "burning salt" is spot on. Vile yes, but worth it as I feel it's very effective. I've breast fed twins for 3 years so my calcium levels have taken a hammering. This sorts that out like no other. Added bonus for me is that I sleep & dream really well after this.

I don't like the taste, hoping this brand does capsules that absorb as effectively. That's the only negative- the taste. The results were surprising, I noticed a massive improvement in the symptoms of my IBS. I would recommend anyone with IBS to give this a try.

This is my second or third bottle and have reviewed before. An excellent product I just add one capful to a glass of water which dilutes the taste and is much the better way to take minerals.

I did not like it

I originally looked into this for my teeth hygiene, but hadn't purchased it yet. Then, when I was training really hard for a triathlon and doing two-a-days, I suddenly started having lots of cramps and spasms, to the point where I was tearing up out of frustration in the gym because trying to stretch one muscle was causing the antagonist muscle to cramp up so I'd try to stretch that one and the otehr one would start to cramp. I felt stuck and in pain.While I am fairly well versed in what the body needs, I was not aware until that moment that I was lacking in these vital minerals due to my sudden and drastic increase in workouts. I did some more research because I was sure I already had enough potassium (bananas were already a staple and a former go-to for muscle cramps when I was a swimmer in high school), and decided to buy this product.It made a world of difference almost immediately. I think it was within a day or two that I was no longer having random spasms and cramping. The taste is awful, but palatable when mixed with a glass of water. This was such a lifesaver! Now whenever I am training for an event or myself getting muscle spasms and cramps, I immediately know how to conquer it.

I haven't been taking it long enough to know if it is helping. It is easier on my stomach than the other magnesium I was taking. The taste really is not good. I started mixing it with 4 oz of kefir and it worked good to mask the taste. However, I think the kefir gives extra energy and I was taking it and the Ionic C & M at bedtime and waking up around 3 AM not able to go back to sleep. So, I've decided to just take the C&M with 2 oz of water and chase it with more water. That is working. However, I saw on the bottle that it was a good way to jump start the day so I'm wondering if I shouldn't take it at bedtime. If any one has any experience with that please let me know. Normally magnesium helps me sleep. Guess I will just keep trying different things until something works. It seems to be a quality product.

Calcium is complicated and depends on other nutrients for good absorption and effective use in the body. I have osteoporosis, per a bone density test, and don't want to take the pharmaceutical product from the Dr. so I take this and the Standard Process products instead. I used to get numbness in my arms and fingers, which is a symptom of low calcium levels as well. That stopped when I started taking this product. If I slack off it comes back so I know I need it.For the taste, I put 1 capful in my 22oz. water bottle and add the Ultima grape flavored electrolyte powder. I drink 2 of those a day.Best to do some research on it.

Love these Vitamins and absolutely feel a big difference in my stamina and able to do lots of housework without getting so easily tired .I love the flavor and so glad a friend recommended this Vitamin.Also the price is reasonable for the superior quality of this Vitamin.Highly recommended and absolutely satisfied with the vitamins

I love this product!! I had malabsorbtion for about a few years, so I wasn't getting the nutrients that I needed out of my food. These supplements absorb perfectly and I saw improvement within the first week, and felt improvement within the first two weeks. I felt stronger, my bowel movements became healthier and more regular, my nails stopped being brittle, my teeth stopped hurting... I am feeling SO much healthier. The only downside is the taste. Some people say that they do not notice it, but I definitely do. Even so, the benefits are way too good to let a bitter taste stop me from taking this. I just toss it back without thinking about it too much.
