Rock tumbling machine quit working a month after purchase and use!
*Update - The company, on their own, reached out to me in regards to the base of the tumbler not working. They obviously had read my review. They offered a new base and some extra belts. I received the new base and belts very quickly, at no charge. I really appreciate them reaching out and replacing the base. So far, the base is working, and I'm back to tumbling my rocks! The tumbler is a great tumbler as long as it's working, and their customer service is excellent, they really care. I would recommend this tumbler. Based on the tumbler itself, and the customer service, I would go from 1 star to 5 stars. If anything comes up, I will update this review again.I'm so disappointed that this rock tumbler quit working in less than a month! After the first week the belt broke and I replaced it with the belts provided. Then, less than two weeks later the replaced belt broke, and I replaced it, again. Then, less than a week after that second belt broke the rock tumbler was not working at all. The machine was trying to turn and was humming. Now the machine does not do anything.

One of my favorite purchases!
The product is great, the company is even better! They have great customer service. Very responsive and helpful. The machine works perfectly. Lots of fun. I was worried about the amount of noise it would make but it isn't as much as you'd expect. I kept it in my bedroom at first and would turn it off at night but moved it to a spare room so I could run it all the time.Durable and clean up is easy. Would make a really cool gift for someone who has everything.

Great little Tumbler!
This little tumbler is the best I can imagine in it's very reasonable price range. I love it.I've used it to tumble my copper and aluminum jewelry parts with steel shot with fantastic results and found that even the sharp facets on Austrian Crystal's tumbled with steel shot are undamaged and in fact seem sharper and brighter.I've also used it with grit to polish resin pieces with great results. The thick rubber tumbler is very well crafted and the stainless steel parts have shown no rust at all.great.This company also sends 5 extra belts just in case of breakage for free if we send them an email after we receive our tumbler.I did so, and the response was super quick and their representative 'Annie' was so cordial and helpful. So unusual these days...Great product.Great customer service.5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌞

Test run of product and feedback.
I did a test run on this Rock Tumbler. I ran a 6-day cycle each on using Grits #1, #2 #3 and a 7-day cycle on the finish polishing Grit #4. The 1st photo is an example of how the rocks looked before doing the test run and the test run lasted 25 days total. I can tell that I needed to add more days of run time with the roughing grits, #1-#2, the semi-polishing grit #3 and probably the final polishing grit #4. This was just a test run on the tumbler using continuous run days and not getting the best quality results. This is a hobby that needs a lot of time to get quality results, the work involved is not very much it is the actual tumbling that is time consuming. I would recommend taking your time to run each cycle, check the rocks every day or two to see if the rocks are good enough to go to the next cycle. If you hurry, the results will not be satisfactory to you, and it will be a waste of tumbling grit, you will need to run the cycles again using more tumbling grit. This is a hobby, like anything will need time and experience to get great results. I believe this tumbler will last quite a while. The rocks I used for my test run were rocks that I picked up off the ground while camping last August in 2023.On the feedback, I like the 2-year warranty. I did request the manufacture to send me the free 5 extra belts and did receive them in the mail. The next things I want to comment on are items I noticed while doing the test run. The first thing I noticed was the rubber drum was the rubber getting rubbed/removed from the bevel on the bottom end of the drum. I don't think this will be a problem, it probably is just going to wear down to a certain point and then stop wearing down. The next item that I found was with the pulleys and belt that spins the drum. I found that when I wanted to just move the tumbler without lifting it and just sliding it, while it was running. I would almost grab it where the pulleys and belt were spinning and could see someone possibly getting some kind of injury or damaging the tumbler. I was surprised that there isn't a safety cover over the pulleys and belt, mainly because the manufacture list the age for using the product is 4 and up. I think this should have a safety cover over the belt and pulleys, it shouldn't be hard to have a removable cover that snaps into place. If I found that I almost always grabbed onto the tumbler, right where the pulleys and belt were spinning when I just wanted to slide the tumbler over a little, a 4-year-old probably wouldn't catch themselves before grabbing the tumbler where the belt and pulleys are located when running. I know the instructions say that you should always turn the tumbler off when moving it, but many or most people would do as I did, slide the tumbler over while it is running. I also see that the manufacture has an updated version of this tumbler available, it costs more, but it has a brushless motor. This motor should last longer that the motor in the model I purchased, that has a motor with brushes. I would give a rating of 5 stars on this except for the lack of a safety cover, especially for the younger children. I am leaving an overall rating of 4 stars, because of my only using the product for 25 days and don't know how long or how well it will work until I have more use time and get better at getting results that are satisfactory.

Great little tumbler
Purchased this tumbler in August, 2024. Purposely waited to write a review until I used it a while…7 months running almost 24/7 and love it !! Great product and great company. I discovered the belts don’t last so here’s a tip: elastic hair ties are perfect substitute! Would highly recommend.

Good Purchase For My Needs
Made my newly created Sterling silver jewelry shine. I did need to buy some metal pellets because what is included in this package is for rocks only. Metal does not use the grit included
