HDIUK 3m portable Air Conditioner venting duct hose extension kit.

Used this on my Comfee portable a/c to get the vent out of a high window in my bedroom. Worked as expected. The material is thin but I didn't experience any breakages or tares. The supplied PVC tape worked well in joining the existing pipe. Make sure you do this on a hot day as that will help. Unused tape could be used to patch up the pipe if a rip did occur. I would imagine if the pipe was pressing on a sharp object (window frame catch or something) then that would ultimately cause damage. Just pad the area with something soft if that is the case.As a tip, given the extra length of the exhaust pipe I ended up insulating the pipe from the a/c to the windows by wrapping it in some laminate flooring underlay that I had spare, otherwise the hot pipe was warming the room back up again.

I'm sure this item works very well when used with a flexible hose, however my portable air conditioner hose is made of hard plastic. Therefore, I had to cut the pipe in order to slide it over the vent outlet joining section. Clip was difficult to fit because the plastic was very slippery. This is not the fault of the Window Vent Outlet, but it might be helpful if the seller could mention it is best for flexible hoses. I succeeded in fixing the Vent Outlet with the clip and sealed the cut I made with tape. In conjunction with a Klarstein Window Seal, it works very well thank you.

Easy to use and install as the title suggests. My only gripe is that due to the highly flexible nature of the pipe, it will more than likely breakdown if the unit attached to the pipe is moved alot (i wont be moving it so that is fine). It is not of hard pvc/plastic design is basically the cheaper pvc u get in tumble dryers.Other than that I cant fault the item (so far), and the extra added items of the adapter/tape are welcomed although where not used in my installation.

I don't understand why this doesn't get 5-star reviews from all users. It's a brilliant and effective solution which does exactly what it says on the tin - and what is needed. It may look flimsy but (so far) it hasn't BEEN flimsy; the tape supplied is excellent; overall not too expensive for what it does. I'm happy to pay for the idea and the execution, over and above the cost of materials - inventors should benefit from their ideas.

The tube did the job but is very thin plastic around a metal coil so needs insulation around it or the room being cooled heats up as the warm air passes through it.This isn’t mentioned in other reviews.

I recently bought an air conditioning unit and it was obvious looking at how the unit operates which required a venting hose to expel heat generated from the air conditioner unit. I find this product very useful as all I need to do is open a window and place the hose out of the window so the heat can be vented out of the room. This does not bother me as most windows in our home are open in the warmer summer months, it’s ideal because I can now use the air conditioning unit in any room of our home and it’s not tied down to any fixture. This is a very useful product that deserves five stars.

Very flimsy but does exactly as required. Very easy to install and plenty of tape

The only pain with portable air conditioning units is the exhaust hose hanging out of the window. Some of the hose-ends are quite large so it becomes more difficult to plug the gap.This is where this little gadget comes in. You can connect this to the end of your exhaust hose instead and it reduces the amount you need to open your window.It's easy to connect and although a bit pricey for what is essentially a piece of plastic, I would definitely recommend it.
