It doesn't come with fuel. You can get Zippos own make fuel on Amazon along with flints and wicks. You don't have to buy Zippos own makes though.

Is this good quality and is the image actually engraved onto the lighter or just a plate?

I bought one for a friend and the quality was good, never had issues with Zippo. The image is engraved onto a plate about 2-3mm thick that is on the side of the body. Engraving was really nice and lined up well.

Does this come in the zippo box?
