Does the job. Good quality construction. And comes with optical cable and USB Type-A power cable.
I needed this because I have a Samsung TV which has awful audio. I have a Bose home speaker which has Bluetooth, but there are lip-sync issues, so the only other supported option was to use the optical output from the TV, and use this converter box to go into the analog 'Aux In' connection on the Bose device. It works fine, but you'll have to set the TV to always output in 'PCM' mode, otherwise the audio will disappear when watching certain programs using a different encoding. The audio quality is pretty reasonable (you wouldn't expect top Hi-Fi from such an adapter, but it's certainly way better than listening through the built-in speaker inside most TVs).A slight issue is that the audio level is no longer adjustable from the TV remote control, but that's not a fault of the adapter. The adapter is well built, in a folded metal enclosure. The attached photo shows what is inside, for those curious about what integrated circuits are used.I liked that the device comes with an optical cable, and a power supply cable (USB Type A). Many TVs have a USB socket, so that can provide the power. Note that the product does not come with any analog audio cable. You'll have to purchase a phono (RCA) cable separately.

Very good optical interface device for external sound.
Works very well taking the optical sound output from a TV to an older amplifier as speaker system. Excellent value, solidly built. Very good service too.Recommended.

Prozor Digital to Analogue Converter
Tha DAC is as described in the description it is nicely built and works as it should, all inputs and out puts easily distinguished no volume control but no problem for my needs as my speakers have a volume control. Also wanted to mention it was a fair price. Nothing negative to say. I would have no qualms by other products from this brand.

A cheap fix for awful TV sound
Works as it should and was easy to connect up. Sound quality is excellent through a decent amp, just moved some speakers around to make it more surround and it was good to go. A basic surround sound set up was more than ten times the price so as far as I am concerned it is a total win. I was a little concerned because it needed a 10m cable to reach the amp, but it is all fine. The TV it is connected to had awful sound quality, buzzy and tinny, most of the time the volume had to be kept below 10% or the distortion made it unbearable. Now it can be cranked up until the windows are shaking and is still clear, we have spent the afternoon watching music videos and I am looking forward to watching some shows without having the subtitles on. If I am going to be picky, a little more wire on the connector and the power lead would have been handy, but overall for the price I can't fault it.

Perfect for taking a second output out of a sonos port.
Perfect for taking the digital coax out of a sonos port. In case not known the sonos plays rca and coax at the same time. We used a prozor to pipe the digital coax over a cat6 cable (note this is not ip, just using the wires) and then this to take that extended coax to another rca. We've essentially got one port connected to two systems now. Worked straight out the box.

Does its job but not compatible with LG sound control
It seems that it should be ok with Samsung TV, but not for LG.One LG TV, you get one sound level and that's it: no way to adjust the sound coming out from the converter... unless you add another device of course... It would have been good that was put a bit clearer in the description.
