This is my friend
Being a struggling wrist in constant need of support, the Neo-G Wrist and Thumb Support Stabilized has been an absolute lifesaver. The adjustable straps wrap around me like a comforting hug, providing the support I desperately crave without making me feel confined. The stabilization feature is like having a reliable friend by my side, especially during activities that usually leave me achy and sore. It's not just about alleviating pain; it's about feeling secure and empowered throughout the day.I've gone through my fair share of supports, but the Neo-G is a standout. It understands the needs of a weary wrist, offering both comfort and stability. To my fellow wrists in distress, this support has been a beacon of relief, making every day a bit more manageable. Highly recommended for those seeking a dependable ally in the battle against discomfort.

Excellent product - did exactly what it was advertised to do
After over-extending my thumb I bought this splint to help stabilise my wrist and thumb and to prevent unnecessary movement, and the Neo G Stabilized Wrist and Thumb Brace has fully met my expectations with that regard.Because the brace extends across the knuckles of the hand and the thumb, and extends a little way up the wrist, it keeps the thumb and wrist pretty much immobile, even when using the hand to grip things. I also appreciated being able to adjust the “bend” in both strips of aluminium reinforcer to better follow the curve of my wrist and hand, and to be able to set the angle of my thumb against my hand. Two observations - neither of which should be construed in any way as a criticism of the product. The Neo G Wrist and Thumb Brace Is, by design, constructed to immobilise the wrist and thumb and it does that extremely well. I did find, however:1. After wearing the brace for extended periods, the bindings could dig into the flesh a little, especially between the thumb and forefinger. I got over this problem by wearing another NEO G product (the NEO G Airflow Wrist & Thumb Support - a fingerless support sleeve) under the brace, which made the wearing of the brace for long periods much more comfortable.2. For some tasks such as writing, or where extra dexterity of the fingers was needed, the fact that the splint extends over the knuckles of the hand and thumb did restrict movement a little. I resolved this by buying a similar product that helped immobilise the wrist and thumb a little, but didn’t extend over the hand and thumb knuckles. But I always swapped back to the NEO G brace for maximum protection. So, I’m really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs to immobilise their thumb and wrist.

overall good brace
takes a bit of faffing to get into the right position, but with a bit of patience you will get it, the thumb splint comes in a position that holds the thumb out.Ive got a problem with the MCP joint and found bending the thumb splint more towards the hand gave more relief, but had to get my husband to bend it for me as its hard to bend.It is comfy to wear and is providing support. where the metal splints are on the brace it has a layer of gel for added comfort, but unfortunately it makes that bit of the hand, thumb and wrist really hot and clammy.Only real negatives I would say is that the brace stinks of rubber/plastic, the odour from it is very strong but Im hoping in a few days that will lessen, and also Ive got small hands and wrists so it fits me but the very bottom velcro doesnt leave much room, so if you have large arms youd have to have the scratchy velcro against your skin which wouldnt be very pleasant

Offers good support
This is not a pain killer but will restrict you from moving your joint or tendon into a position that will cause pain. Comfort, for me, took a bit of getting used to, the metal bar that fits into the thumb support caused me a bit of bother but I got used to it after a day or so quite comfortable after that. The support does offer good support and is pretty stable it does stay in position and does not turn while being worn.I would buy another one if needed, it is a bit better than the NHS one I used to have.

Great product - absolutely worth the price.
(This same review is posted for both the Right and Left version.) The basics: great service - fast and well packaged. Product exactly as it appears; the universal sizing works for me - I have fairly large hands/wrists, and I found the supports very comfortable and close-fitting without restricting blood flow, etc. I didn't feel I needed the metal stiffeners, as I had only slight sprains, but I can see how they would be great for preventing over-flexing of the wrist/hand. The thumb support fits me well; the whole hand can still fit inside a disposable latex glove whilst wearing the support - important to me, in my cleaning job. I would certainly recommend it, and also the supplier. Well made. It should last a long time.(NOTE: when adding the item to the Basket, the description doesn't show "Left" or "Right", which can be initially worrying, as I had to recheck I had, indeed, ordered BOTH versions.)

Very comfortable
Love this product so much that this was the third one I've bought over several years. The support it provides is fantastic - although I had to remove the thumb support as this was uncomfortable for me. Would definitely recommend.

Heavenly relief and sturdy design
god DAMN this splint is good. Lasts longer than your average light splint or compression glove. The metal supports actually curve to your wrist for extra support - not just two sad little pieces of straight metal digging into your skin. Very comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. Even if the straps get a bit weak, the extra wrist strap keeps it compressed and protected.

Scrimping on an inch of material.
All appeared well at first as it is well made and will support the wrist. My only gripe is the velcro fastening to the top strap. I have a fairly large hand and the top strap is very tight when fastened and often comes loose. For the sake of another inch of material, this could have been a very good product. Disappointed as there is a no refunds policy with this company.
