PMF IAS Physical Geography for UPSC 2024-25

Good book with all content covered and good coloured diagrams. Interesting to study and good coverage of syllabus. It’s really good for upsc preparation.

The book is great one stop solution for Geography for Competitive exams like UPSC. It's written in short and crisp format and you don't need to make notes out of it. It contains all spheres of information regarding the subject considering the Physical Geography from UPSC point of view. This along with NCERTs (of 11th and 12th) is everything you need for Geography for UPSC.

There's no doubt that it's a go-to book for Physical Geography. But my advice to those who want to use it for UPSC is.... make sure you have enough time to cover this book. Because this is only for Physical Geography. There are still others topics in UPSC geography like Indian and Economic geography which are not covered in this book. So go for this book only when you have enough time for covering Indian and Economic geography separately after finishing this book. Else,go through NCERTs only. Use this book for value addition then. If you solely want to depend on this book for Physical Geography by skipping NCERT physical geography, you can do that provided that you have ample time to do so. The book is excellent

Amazing book very easy to understand language

Best source to cover physical geography , maps and illustrations given in the book are very helpful too, no need to refer anything else except this and ncert for upsc . ☺️
