It's easy to be cynical and think that all face creams are the same and that it's all marketing. I spent most of my life skeptical that high end lotions were just high priced and not any better, and so I bought the mid-range creams (not drugstore brands, but not luxury either). After using this face cream, I am sure that it's not just marketing and that it's actually a better cream than anything I've used so far. This firming day cream by Clarions is a thick cream that still absorbs quickly without feeling at all greasy. Because it is thick, a little goes a long way. The smell is light, but absolutely amazing and luxurious. This cream feels so good going on and it even feels good on my lips - so much so that I also use this directly as lip balm (it doesn't have any kind of taste to it). When I first started using this my face was very dry from the winter weather, and applying the cream didn't sting at all, which often happens when you apply cream to very dry skin. Despite no stinging ("to let me know it was working"), I saw obvious results within 2 days. But more important than how I looked was how good my skin and lips felt. I am in my mid 40s and I love this day cream. It is absolutely worth it. Try it once and I think you will be convinced.

I am writing this review after I finished the jar. I was aware of Clarins’ reputation in the anti-aging field and other related creams, so I started using this moisturizer shortly after I received it at home. What a great product! It’s worth every ounce! My skin started to look more hydrated, healthier, and with a softer texture after using it for a month roughly. The scent is just fine, so I definitely recommend this product.

I like the moisturizer. It's expensive, not sure it's worth the money.
