good quality, i'd do it again
i got these cowhide leather gloves for my girlfriend because i was hoping she was gonna be out in the pasture helping me clean up after the cows, and since she treats me so well she deserved some solid hand protection... and let’s be real, i didn’t want to hear any complaints about mystery sludge, questionable mud, or straight up cow poop getting on her hands... these gloves turned out to be a win for both of us... thick, durable, and comfortable right out of the package... she put them on and flexed her fingers like she was about to wrangle a bull... the leather is tough but flexible and surprisingly soft.. almost as soft as the lamb skin ones i have, and the reinforced palm patch means you’re hopefully not gonna wear through them in a week... plus, the adjustable strap actually keeps them in place and keeps dirt(poop) from sneaking in, which is a nice bonus when you’re wrist deep in pasture clean-up duty... if you’re looking for gloves that can handle farm work, heavy duty chores, or just protecting your hands from whatever nastiness life throws at you, these appear to be a solid choice... highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their hands intact while dealing with the great outdoors... or in my case, to keep my girlfriend from swearing off farm work forever...

Quality Gloves
These gloves are soft, roomy, and comfortable. They are flexible for work activities, however, the lining may make them too warm for summer work. Very nice gloves and reasonably priced.

Varying quality and sizing
I get these gloves often. They are great gloves. But there areally inconsistencies in the sizing and leather material. The thicker glossy leather is perfect. The thinner leather wears down too fast and the sizing is smaller. It is difficult to slide my hand and wrist into the smaller cut. Funny thing is I ordered one pair to see if the good stuff was in stock. It was so I ordered a few more pairs two days later and received the lesser quality, smaller gloves.

Great Gloves
My first pair of outside work gloves after buying a home and I think they were my best purchase. They will turn your fingers yellow if wet/sweaty but they fit great and protect your hands from even the prickliest of yard things. Very durable.

Bad First Impression, Better Second *Updated*
I've been on a mission to find a good solid pair of working gloves that'll last at least 2 months. I had high hopes for these but they let me down.I had never used WL gloves before and bought them from reputation and good reviews. When they arrived, I thought I may have found what I was looking for. They looked great and felt even better. Not only that but I had changed back professions from construction to professional driver again so they wouldn't be tortured to death like the many brands of gloves before them. I only needed these for opening and closing trailer doors, securing cargo with load straps and loading and unloading metal containers. Despite getting filthy over the last month and a half, they did well and I liked the ball/strap on the wrist. Just last week though, they split at the end of one of the fingers. The same weakness of every other glove is in these too. The stitching. It's not bad enough to make them unusable and I'm not going to toss them yet but I really thought that with this lighter duty work, these gloves would last longer. Not so and I'm very disappointed. So the search continues. I just can't believe I can't find a work glove that'll hold together. I've had them all so far. Leather, reinforced leather, pleather, cloth, reinforced cloth, cloth/leather hybrids, cloth dipped in rubber, name brand, generic, cheap, expensive, etc. Whether they look impressive or not, they all year in the stitching whether in the palm, side finger or finger tip. I'm open to suggestions (just not Firm Grip, I tried 3 different kinds of those and they all ripped in record time).7/26/17 *Update* I decided to try one more pair of these since I found them for a good deal at my local store. I also hoped the last pair was just a fluke with the stitching coming undoneband I did like them a lot up till that point. We'll, these have lasted longer and no rips or tears yet. I use them 5 days a week on the job for many physical tasks and they're holding up just fine so I changed my rating from a 3 to a 5. We'll done. I'll buy them again if they hold up a little longer.

Great fit once broken-in
Purchased these gloves for carrying lumber and general work tasks to save my hands from taking a beating. I am not a contractor, but do use them daily. I can say that I was unsure of what size to order and spent the time to measure my hand and compare to the size chart. When they arrived I was initially disappointed as the fit was very tight, however, as they are leather, a few days in the sun and pulling them on and off softened them up a treat and now they fit like ... a glove. I like the pull string that stops the sawdust and dirt from falling into the glove through the wrists. The strings are easy to pull closed, and easier to open, even when wearing the gloves. The stitching seems high quality, but only time will tell if the high humidity and scorching sun will take their toll on the gloves. So far they show no sign of wear other than a nice patina.Working with them is great and they provide ample grip for lifting stacks of rough sawn 2x4's and I am thankful for them every time I lift an 8x4 board of 3/4" ply and I have to slide my hand along the edge to readjust my grip (something that used to increase band-aid stock and tint the edges with a lovely shade of red).
