Lightweight, efficient — cleans a 3-bed house on one charge!
This Russell Hobbs cordless vacuum is a fantastic all-rounder. It’s incredibly lightweight, making it easy for anyone to carry and use without effort. One of the most impressive things is that it can clean a full white 3-bedroom house on a single charge — no need to stop and recharge midway. It handles both carpets and hard floors well, with strong suction and surprisingly quiet operation. The cordless design makes it convenient to use throughout the home, and the dust container is easy to empty. It’s also compact enough to store away neatly.Overall, a reliable and user-friendly vacuum that does the job brilliantly. Highly recommended!

good suction
this is just an initial view as it arrived only today and has been given a quick test run.it has plenty of suction, is light and manoeuvrable. Worked fine on carpet and woodblock floor, even cleaned up a doormat which was impressive. Easy to start using as only one piece to clip on. The folding handle will be useful to me. Arrived sooner than supplier said it would and was well packaged. Seems well priced compared with similar sorts of cordless cleaners.Potential down sides? Well it seems maybe a bit flimsy, (hence 4 stars not 5) especially for example the on/off switch, it is fine at the moment, I just wonder how it will hold up. RH do however provide a two year warranty so this is maybe not an issue, need to keep the packaging just in case!So I'm pleased so far. If it proves reliable it will have been a good buy.

It's a sign of middle age when you love your hoover
We've had an old Henry for years and I've spent many a moment frustratingly hauling his heavy red body around the house, watching him get stuck on every door post, looking at me insolently as I desperately try to pull him over the transition from carpet to laminate. I have arthritis and a host of other mobility issues which are just bad enough for something like vacuuming to be much more of a chore than it should be, so I decided to help myself out by getting something much lighter and cordless. I'm not going to lie, I was unduly excited when it arrived and I charged it immediately. It was really easy to put together, everything just slots where it looks like it ought to go, and it started charging without issue. The next day I used it all over the house, which isn't huge but is still 7 rooms, without it losing any power at all. It glides like a dream and after using a big clunky vacuum and then the Henry hoover, which was pretty good on the suction front but was basically an abomination in red, it was delightful to be able to actually easily push a vacuum around for 40 mins without getting tired and hurting my hands. It's very manoeuvrable, you can angle the head around corners and table legs and under sofas with ease and it glides very well over laminate, carpet and lino. The only thing it doesn't do as well as a heavier duty vacuum is pick up a lot of hair. It gets some, especially from the smoother surfaces, but on carpet it didn't always pick it up. I and my husband both have very long hair and we shed like alsatians so we do get a lot of hair build up on the carpet, but we just use a brush to accumulate it and pick it up and throw it away. If you have pets and they routinely shed everywhere you might want something a bit more powerful. But if like me you just need something to zip around an average home without breaking your back or tripping to your death whilst trying to get it up the stairs then this is well worth the purchase, and it is very good for the price. It also folds down at the top to take up less space and I've found it easy to empty and clean. The smaller dustbuster you can remove also works well for the hard to reach places and the stairs. Noise wise, it's the same as any vacuum but there's two settings so you can have it on low if you want it to be less loud. My bird screams at it slightly less than he does the Henry. It holds its charge well so far, I used it a long time the first time and then a few quick run rounds after before needing to recharge it. It shows in the front in lights when it's running low which is handy. It comes with a years guarantee if you run into any issues (you can change this to two years registering online). I would highly recommend this vacuum and am not ashamed of the inordinate amount of pleasure I get from pushing its light weight around without pain shooting up my back and wrists. The only thing that's slightly strange is the lights on the head, they're quite bright and I can't think of anywhere in our house that's really dark enough to warrant them but I suppose if you get up in the middle of the night and fancy a cheeky clean theyre quite useful 😂

Easy to use. Charge on it is brilliant.
I have this gem now a few months. I’ve had such bad luck with hoovers. I took a chance after a bad experience with a shark upright hoover. This is brilliant. What I love most is how light it is and how long the charge is. It said the charge lasts an hour but it lasts longer than that and charges really quickly. It has two speeds the 1st one is all you need. The second is really powerful and I haven’t needed it yet. The ease of movement with it is the best thing and it’s so simple to use. Cleaning it out after use is also very easy. Other upright hoovers can be very heavy. Highly recommend this one. Well done Russell Hobbs. A good price too.
