I would use One dot not a lot craft glue.

The cup is metal with the jewels on the outside. It is nicely made.

Q: Is this cup dishwasher safe and microwave safe?

I think the description says it is dishwasher safe,but also says to wash by hand. Personally, I wouldn't wash it in the dishwasher because of so many jewels even though it is a sturdy cup you want it to last longer in it's condition so wash it by hand. It comes with all the tools for that as well and very fast and easy to wash. As far as microwave safe it's a no. This tumbler is used for hot and cold beverages to enter the cup from inside. Not the temperature coming from outside. It holds hot for 9 hours and cold for 19 hours. You don't need a microwave to heat it up because the temperature of the hot contents stay the same for that long. Same with cold.
